About this ebook
First there was the ancient and universal Law of Attraction. Then the surprise blockbuster hit movie and best-selling book The Secret brought part of that amazing story to millions of new seekers. Then spiritual teachers the world over began to provide deeper insight into the Law of Attraction and how it actually works. These teachings gave rise to a new understanding of the magnificent power of phrases, beginning with the ancient words of creation, I AM. now Dan Shafer brings forth a new meditation technique to help a world eager to apply The Power of I AM to their lives and, more importantly, to the world around them as Earth moves inexorably toward the climactic transformation looming before humanity.
In this brief but brilliantly insightful work, Dan presents not only an easy-to-follow meditation practice to allow you to tap into the incredible power of transformation lurking in your use of the I AM invocation, but also a clear explanation of why and how this technique works to help you achieve all you unselfishly desire.
If you're ready to take your experience with metaphysics and the Law of Attraction to the next level, let The Power of I AM amaze you with its simple and powerful teachings.

Dedication
Dedicated to the memory of Rev. Rory Nitatohbi Elder, one of the finest men, strongest spirits and best friends anyone could ever have in many, many lifetimes, and to his wife, Rev. Vicky Elder, who has been my mentor, brainstorming partner, colleague, counselor and wonderful friend for all the years before and since Rory’s transition and who taught me that God is good all the time.
With friends like these, I can count myself among the world’s wealthiest men.

Acknowledgments
During my four decades as a writer, I have come to understand with great clarity that no book is a solitary work. For me, and for this book, I owe an unusually large numbers of debts of gratitude to those who have helped along the way.
First and foremost, I appreciate the love, support, encouragement and devotion of my loving and delightful wife, CJ. She has made life so easy for me that sometimes I forget to stop and remember how much she does without asking for or expecting gratitude. We are clearly soulmates.
Appreciation also belongs to the late Rev. Rory Elder, Rev. Vicky Elder, Rev. Steve Maynard, Olivia Maynard, Rev. Stan Hampson, Dr. Don Huntington, Harvey Kraft, and Laurence Rozier, friends who have made measurable contributions to my spiritual growth over many years.
To my own personal spiritual-medical team that has helped keep me alive these past few years and fed me both physically and spiritually--Jeff and Susan Turner, Ted Lane, Rev. Dr. Dia Lynn, Dr. Michael Arnold, Dr. Rick Moss, Patrice Dineen, and dozens of their colleagues and support team members -- I cannot say Thank you
nearly enough.
I have been inspired by more authors than I could list if I could devote an entire book just to this list, but those most influential on this particular work would include Dr. Deepak Chopra, Gregg Braden, Neal Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson, Helen Schuchman, Sri Aurobindo, Charles Fillmore, Eric Butterworth, Aldous Huxley and Paramahansa Yoganda. I AM particularly appreciative of the study and writings of James Twyman on this subject in his book The Moses Code, published in 2008.
Early readers of this manuscript provided valuable feedback and corrections, so I am most grateful to them for slogging through the rough draft. These include my daughters Krista, Mary and Heather, my wife CJ, Tony Seton, Harvey Kraft, and Dia Lynn.
Debbie Jones, my former Personal and Production Assistant, provided support and undertook a broad variety of tasks to assist me in getting this book into print and eBook form.

Preface
Thank you for your interest in this book and congratulations on your willingness to delve into the depths of your spiritual beliefs to explore your I AM power. I take the trust you place in me by buying this book, spending time reading it and trying its suggestions quite seriously. I hope you'll feel, when you finish this book, that your trust has been well placed and that you have been well served by this experience.
This is a very personal book. It is personal from my perspective because it reflects and builds upon so many of my personal experiences that it almost seems at times autobiographical. But it is also personal to you and your perspective. Because I don't believe in formal creeds or tests of faith, it is deeply ingrained in my soul that it is for each of us to decide our own spiritual path. This means, among many other things, that any encounter we have with a book such as this will necessarily be colored and flavored by the experiences and filters we bring to it.
As you will read in Chapter 1, I set out with a single purpose for writing this book: to share with you my experience of and thoughts about the I AM essence that is at the very heart of our being, the core of our souls. As it turned out, along the way I was inspired to create and write a whole new approach to meditation. Ultimately, this became the tail that wagged the dog and the meditation and its intricacies now occupy a substantial portion of this book, which is now in its fourth round of publication.
The fact, however, is that the Universal Truth about our I AM power doesn't change and hasn't changed from the conception of this book to the publication of this new version. All that has changed is my presentation of that material as I have listened to more readers and students and been able to benefit from their experiences and insights to improve the clarity and focus of the book and its teachings.
Chapter 1 gives you a bit of my spiritual path and background so that you have a context in which to place my teachings and against which to assess the value of these ideas in your life.
Chapter 2 focuses on the basic issues of defining our I AM and some ideas about how we explore it and what it means to do so.
Chapter 3 moves to the practical side of our I AM power by examining the ways in which we already use -- and often misuse -- it in common, everyday situations. You will come to appreciate from this material the pervasiveness of your I AM and will find yourself tuning into what you say and do with greater awareness and focus.
Chapter 4 turns our attention to the many ways in which what we say about ourselves -- how we use our I AM power with others -- has a tremendous impact on the way others see us. You will see that by making even seemingly insignificant changes in the ways we describe ourselves and present our ideas to others, we can dramatically alter not only our relationships but the totality of our life experience.
Chapter 5 expands on the notion that we can co-create our experience of the material world by the proper application of our I AM power along with a clear understanding of the use of affirmations and affirmative prayer.
Chapter 6 shifts our attention from the physical to the spiritual realm as we examine the divine nature and tradition of I AM teachings and powers in various spiritual and religious teachings throughout
