      Introduction

      My partner and I, both well over 50, who met on a dating site, have organized this book as guide to internet dating both from a guys and girls perspective. Both sexes can get insights into what each other are thinking as the dating process develops. This guide is invaluable for those who are over 50 yet still want the thrill of dating but want to avoid the 'on-line' pitfalls.

      The authors show you how to secure a date in as short as 24 hours with someone you actually like! There really is no magic formula but there are very simple techniques that when applied works wonders. There are two 'secret' ingredients that you need to apply; one is timely humor and the other is engagement. Engagement is recognition that someone else exists other than yourself and that you recognize his or her person and accomplishments. I can't over stress this point, both want, nay, even need recognition. Engagement through recognition is a very powerful aphrodisiac. Apply a touch of obvious humor to complement the person; this creates the immediate magnetic engagement! Once engaged, communication becomes light, fun and very interesting or just darn right amusing and arousing. Remember the art of making people laugh wins them over to you, guy or girl.

      So read through this book from start to finish before you get 'on-line'. We, my partner and I, show you the steps you must take so that you have immediate and rewarding intimacy and friendship, both of which establishes a basis for a solid relationship.

Don't go over the top; find out enough so that when you are communicating with a potential partner you are aware of your own tendencies! This allows you reflection and immediate ways to correct those areas that don't enhance the dating dialogue and process.

      Accept Your Strength and Weaknesses
