    Ted Stetson is a member of SFWA. He was born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island and went to Seton Hall and Hofstra. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas. He was awarded First Place by the Florida Literary Arts Council and First Place in the Lucy B. McIntire contest of the Poetry Society of Georgia.       Charlie Fitzpatrick sat at the bamboo bar drinking on his gift card. He had screwed, cheated, and lied to win the trip to the Bahamas. In the office he’d let it be known that the shark had struck again. He grinned as he sipped a huge strawberry margarita. It went straight to his empty stomach, a tequila and strawberry explosion. He belched and laughed. Screw them. He’d won. They could kiss his ass.

      Now if he only could find a babe. They were around, but he wanted to bed one he could brag about back home. The shark scored again, he’d tell them. The band in the corner was playing reggae music he’d heard too many times already.

      He glanced across the dining area, at the couples sitting at small round tables, candles flickering in red jars, wooden ceiling fans spinning slowly. Two couples were dancing, young newlyweds and
