About this ebook
The word Cougar often gets overuse and even misused. It implies an aggressive style on the part of the female that may not in fact have anything to do with the encounter. Pam was on a weekend trip with some girlfriends. Her weekend is seemingly ruined when she sprains her ankle tripping over a curb. Although initially treated by a cute young fireman Pam felt like she had ruined her weekend after hurting herself as well as over drinking on her first night there. An encounter with the young firefighter the next day takes Pam from misery to ecstasy. Follow the fantasy of every middle aged woman who has swooned over a young fireman.

Pam was looking forward to her weekend in Key West with the girls. She had been invited by her friend Melody. Melody had been trying to get Pam to go along on one of these trips for 3 or 4 years now. Now that Pam’s kids were off to college she was finally able to go along and try to enjoy herself. This would be her first trip out of town without her kids or husband in probably 20 years. She was a little apprehensive as she could see a wild side to Melody and after some of the stories she had heard of previous trips hoped she wasn’t in for more than she bargained for.
Since her youngest daughter left for college Pam has been trying to get out and enjoy life a little more now that there are fewer responsibilities for her. Her husband Jeff seemed indifferent to the trip. He wanted to watch a big football game on Saturday so he was pretty unfazed by Pam disappearing for a weekend.
Pam and Jeff had let their relationship get a little stale on them. It was hard to believe that they were now married over 20 years. They had been so busy raising 2 daughters that they probably take as good of care of their own relationship as well as they should have.
Pam felt taken for granted. She had done a pretty good job of taking care of herself over the years. She was pretty pleased with her figure and over all looks. For being 43 years old she felt like she looked pretty good compared to a lot of 43 year olds she knows. She was 5’-8" and her weight stayed between 130 and 133. Her long shoulder length hair made her look at least 10 years younger.
Jeff had let himself slip a little. He was around 5’-10" and nearly 225 pounds. His hair was thinning and his skin was less than perfect. None of this was anything that Pam couldn’t overcome in her love of Jeff. However she seemed to feel underappreciated considering how well she had done at taking care of herself compared to Jeff. He didn’t pay that much attention to her needs leaving her to go without loving for as much as 6 to 8 weeks at a time.
Part of Pam wanted to meet someone or have something special happen when she was in Key West. She was pretty conservative in her lifestyle and didn’t really visualize how she would hook up with some drunken stranger in a bar in a distant town. But something about that possibility made Pam anticipate the trip.
Pam had known Melody for about 2 years. The tales she had told Pam about these girls trips had both fascinated and frightened Pam. Being as conservative as she was Pam didn’t anticipate getting to out of hand other than maybe over drinking a little bit. Being married for 20 years and now in a less than happy relationship had a way of creating some pent up instincts to have some fun.
The idea for the trip was for 6 girls to make the trip to Key West. Melody and 2 others Carrie and Tracey were veterans of several prior trips. Two other girls Jill and Carol were going to come on their first trip also.
The idea was for them to fly down on Thursday afternoon. They would go to the hotel and get their rooms and unpack and then go out for the night. They didn’t have hard plans for what they were going to do after that. They would fly home on Sunday afternoon. As the weekend approached it looked like the weather was going to work in their favor also. September in Key West can get a little dicey from a weather perspective being the middle of Hurricane season and all.
Pam had never been to Key West before so she would just follow the other girls lead. They were staying in a small hotel a couple of blocks off of Duval Street. They would be within easy walking distance of all sorts of bars and restaurants.
Pam left work early on Thursday. Her job as an attorney’s assistant makes it hard to get away, but she had been planning this weekend for some time.
After getting home and packing Pam headed over to Melody’s condo to pick her up. Melody had left her husband about three years ago. She got the boys every other week and this was clearly on of her off weeks.
When Pam got to Melody’s condo she appeared to be ready to go.
You ready to go?
Pam asks Melody as she pulls a wheeling bag from her bedroom. Yea I have been ready for about a month….
Melody says as she locks the door to her condo and wheels her bag to Pam’s car.
As they drive towards the airport Melody tells Pam about some petty drama she has going on with her ex-husband. There seems to be a lot of stories like this from Melody. Pam’s mind would drift
