What is an Octopus?
An octopus is an animal that lives in the sea. It has eight arms, a head and a body. It also has blue blood, and it squirts ink!
One funny thing about octopuses is the way you say more than one octopus. Some people say octopuses. Other people say octopi. Both ways are correct. It just depends on which one each person wants to use.
An octopus' arms are attached to its neck. There is a web between each of the arms.
