About this ebook
"In the Storm" is a 31-day Christian devotional written to encourage all people, especially the disabled since the author is visually impaired. Each devotion will remind you of God's strength, grace, and power as you face the difficulties of life.
Carolyn Dale Newell
Carolyn Dale Newell is a Christian wife, mom and passionate writer. After losing most of her vision, she began writing devotions about God’s grace and strength to give people hope as they go through life’s struggles. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13) became her life verse. She overcame the hardships of learning to live as a blind person through the power of Jesus Christ. Carolyn writes for Encouragement Café Ministries, and she is a featured columnist for Garlands of Grace Ministries e-magazine. Carolyn leads Lydia’s Ladies, a women’s Bible study group at her home church. Carolyn and her husband, Tim reside in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. They enjoy the beach, the mountains and southern gospel music. When she is not writing, she teaches visually impaired people about the accessible world of technology. Her desire is to glorify God as she encourages others through writing and speaking.
