The Prophetess
()
About this ebook
The Prophetess is patterned after Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet, a popular classic for the last fifty years. The Prophetess was channeled from the higher self during a long month of meditation, and answers such meaningful eternal questions as:
What is the purpose of life?
How should I relate with others?
What is the nature of time?
The book can be studied and read from beginning to end; it can be opened and read at random to see what messages pertain to the reader on a particular day, or it can be used as a philosophical reference book for looking up answers on specific topics.
Prema, as outlined in the Foreward by John Maxwell Taylor, has the ability to transmit direct spiritual experience through her voice and the written word. The divine energy flowing from the book to the reader strengthens both the reader’s connection to Prema and the book’s inspirational message.
Written as inspirational philosophical literature, similar to scripture, The Prophetess like The Prophet, has a timeless appeal. It, however, also contains chapters, such as the one on the environment, which make the book relevant to the contemporary reader. The Prophetess’ message is conveyed from the enlightened female point of view, which creates a distinctive work, which will resonate with all readers interested in both transforming their own lives, and uplifting the global community.

The Prophetess - PremaMarcia Devi
by Spiritual Teachers and Students
Prema is a Bodhisattva. She is an ascended master. She has served God in many lifetimes so effectively they keep sending her back.
Sasha White Ashtara, Austin, TX
Prema Devi came to anchor spiritual energy here on Earth. She came to do spiritual work in whatever form it looks like (meditation, songs, spiritual healings, dance, tantra, acting). She is here, broadcasting powerful, loving energy all over the planet and that is going on every minute. Very few people can activate the spiritual peaks that Prema does.
Dr. C. Corella - Encinitas, Calif.
It is just phenomenal; the channeling of the God-Goddess energy that comes through you. It is beautiful. It is breathtaking and overwhelming. You have such a special part of the Goddess. I see the very anointed channeling that comes through you. You are a beautiful vessel of light. .

Foreword
by
John Maxwell Taylor
I first met Prema Marcia Devi when she asked me to record her recitation of the poem teachings in the Prophetess. Creating a musical based on the Faust legends, and other projects, I agreed to be recording engineer. My thirty years of spiritual development has given me the ability to recognize the extraordinary: upon hearing Prema read her poems, I knew that I had encountered someone extraordinary.
Poets write in a state of exalted hope or despair, wishful thinking about lofty ideas to be attained, or regret about those lost. While it is my opinion that poets often write from inspiration rather than experience with Prema Marcia Devi, this is not the case. When she speaks of the ecstasies of divine communion with her poems, there is an unwavering sense that she truly knows whereof she speaks. To transmit divine knowledge is difficult enough, but to transmit a divine state is a (God-like) act, for in order to do so, one must indicate that Divine Contact has been established at some time in personal experience.
Within the pages of the Prophetess, you hear the cry of pain that comes from a separation from the Beloved. But you also hear the
