    Chapter One - The Beginnings

    The Eternal Vow We Made

Though time persists and passes by

The joy we share will never die.

Your heart is mine I know by vow

I never will release you now.

Through all the years we ever grow

More close, and love and learn to know

It won't be lost in time, but live

And win us both the chance to give

Us all that's good, to work and strive,

Enough to earn the right to thrive.

Our hearts in lightness will persist,

In darkness we will still resist

    Adversity, lost time as one,

Our thoughts entwined until we're done.

Our love preserved, our hearts transformed,

Our hearts conjoined, our souls reborn.

In The Beginning Was The Word

In the beginning was the word, and the word was love.

We shadowed each other and joined our hearts above.

The least bit of loss was forgotten in the formulation

Of our great and withstanding emulation

Of the famous lovers in their adulation

Of the first and final simulation

That would be the joyous solution

For the mortals in their simple equation.

This alone was the final derivation,

To make and be and try the notion

Of simply loving and allowing the motion

Of two hearts combining in true devotion.

So we as two would be as one

And would become a summer sun

    Shining down upon the world

Like life and death entwined, unfurled.

    Two hearts together, beating, timing

Their beats together just as rhyming

Poets time their words to mark

The time of lovers' beating hearts.

We shall and ever shall be one

    Until the universe is done.

    Souls entwined together forever

    Hearts as one forsaken never.

This cannot be the end of it

We must be a lamp to be lit.

The universe is not to be

    A trifling useless entity.

What care we for the futile fight

If we are destined for the night

No other plan could be of sense

But that we spend our lives

    As one, together tandem fates

Two people meant as man and wife

Forever one and two for life.

You Are All Of This And More

You are the mist in the morning

As I slowly awake and rise up.

You are the face in my dreaming

    Starting, beginning each day.

You are the smell of my coffee

    Sensed and experienced anew.

You are the reason for being

    All I can really become.

You are my heart and my soulmate

Waiting to love, and to bless me.

What would I have without your love,

Nothing that gives me much passion.

What would you give to be with me,

All that you have and you hold.

We are still lost in this Kismet,

Love is our Fate and our hope.

We can expect to be wedded

Together as one in the world.

    Forever united we live for

    Eternity, boundless, complete.

    'Til we meet.

    For This We Were Meant

Once in a lifetime you find that you may

Have entered the realm of beauty's caress

Where dreams of tomorrow have happened today.

The losing of one place won't be amiss,

She offers a sharing, a path and a way,

    An entree, a welcoming hug
