About this ebook

Although written in first person, this fourth volume of Haunted is a recounting of ghostly encounters from several of my friends. As with the other volumes, all stories are believed to be 100% true. Each story teller has been carefully questioned about any and all details pertaining to the story they had to tell. Unlike the other three volumes, there are no sweet little blue girls, or protective entities to be found among these frightening tales of diabolical occurrences. This is an adult read. Please read prior to sharing with anyone under the age of 18.

    Prologue

This installment of Haunted, although told in first person, contains the paranormal encounters of a few of my friends. I am relaying the stories to you in the way they were told to me. Although some poetic license has been taking with wordage, nothing has been added for dramatic effect. As far as I know, the events which transpired in each story are true. I have no reason to believe otherwise.

This is my story. Everything I am about to tell you is true. The names have been changed to protect the innocent, except for mine, because I could never be called innocent.

I was twenty-one and very full of myself. My girlfriend was drop dead gorgeous and I was totally smitten. Life was great! I had a good job, low rent, and great friends. And I was cocky, a little too cocky, as you will shortly find out.

Sandy, my girlfriend, had disappeared and her parents were very concerned and upset. We contacted everyone we thought she might contact, but no one had heard or seen her. After that, the police became involved.

Scared and heartbroken, I went to some mutual friends, Cindy and Steve, to cry the blues. They were great people, close friends. We talked long into the night and when I left, I was still upset, but I felt better.

Two weeks later, we found out she and a friend had taken off with a
