About this ebook

This is the kind of compilation you get when an author begins to write down the nightmares that woke them in the middle of the night. A vicious vampire, a deal went down wrong, a witch hunt, a machete wielding woman, a wife who's had more than enough. It's quite the gamut of ideas that this collection covers.

It doesn't take long for Mr. Bigelow to reveal he has a rather twisted, sick mind, which comes in handy when writing about probing aliens, beasts with horns, glazed-eyed zombies, and certain witchy creatures. ~ Makenna Hutton, from a review for Horror Bent

"Mom. I have something to tell you. I’m undead. Now, I know you may have some preconceived notions about the undead. I know you may not be comfortable with the idea of me being undead. But I’m here to tell you that undead are just like you and me … well, okay. Possibly more like me than you."

The full moon was alighting on the headstones as the crickets chirped in the distance. Disturbed fireflies looked like sparks as they scattered while the young couple made their way through the tall dew laden grass. With the nighttime quiet the rustling of their footfalls sounded loud to their ears. They couldn’t pass up the opportunity for some of their type of fun which drew them onward.

Terrence helped boost Darcy up so that she could scramble up the chain link fence easier. He couldn’t help but be drawn to look up at her and watch her rear as she climbed over. The glimpses he got of her panties under her short black skirt were more than worth his while in his estimation even if he couldn’t see them very well. He really wished this could have been done during the daytime so he could have had a better view. Feeling his eyes on her she blurted out as she smiled to herself, you know you are such a pervert.

What are you talking about now?!

You know what I mean! She rolled over the top and descended down the other side.

He emphatically declared in as low a voice as possible, yeah, whatever you say!

Once he was sure she had reached the ground safely he reached down and picked up the brown paper bag that was holding the cans of spray paint. He gave the bag a toss but they went straight up overhead and disappeared into the darkness. When they returned they fell down directly on top of him. The cans rattled when they hit him on top of his head, oh shit that hurt!

Her voice sounded worried on the other side of the fence. Are you all right Terrence?

The damned cans just landed on top of me Darcy.

Oh I’m sorry to hear that, hope you’re alright. You’d better hurry up and get your butt over here quick.

He rubbed the top of his head. Yeah, I’m fine and I’m on my way. It took a few seconds to find the bag where it had landed in the dark. He reached down and picked it up. Giving it a toss, this time it did clear the fence and almost hit Darcy on its way to the ground. Hopefully the rest of the night will go a little better than it has so far. His fingers gripped the galvanized chain link as he began to pull himself up. An owl hooted which startled him as he was going over the top. He came close to losing his grip with being startled. The chain link rattled loudly as he exclaimed, oh shit!

Her voice sounded husky as she tried to keep her voice down. Hey, you need to be quieter or we’re going to get caught. He can be such a wuss sometimes! She quickly scanned the area seeing if anyone was coming to catch them.

Yeah, yeah, I’ll try to keep it quiet. Do you have the paint? Having found a little composure once more he began to ease himself down into the graveyard. I hope there won’t be anything else that will scare me now.

The bag and paint cans rattled a little as she lifted it up, yeah I got it right here.

He jumped down the last couple of feet and landed next to her and stated simply, oh good. Leaning over, he kissed her cheek as he took the bag from her hand so that he could carry it. Together, they walked towards the nearest headstones. Reaching into the
