    I love you all!

    Chapter One

Karson gently placed the bouquet of lilies on the freshly covered grave and knelt down beside it, tears in his eyes. With a trembling hand, he reached up and fingered the engraved lettering on the headstone.

    Kassandrah Angel Rowe

    October 24th, 1988 – December 19th, 2009

    Loving Daughter, Sister, and Friend

"Fly away home, our little Angel

You will always be in our hearts, Kassi.

    Always and Forever."

Always and forever. That was his idea.

Oh, Kassi. I’m so sorry, he whispered, finally breaking down. He rested his forehead on the cool headstone and sobbed.

It was Christmas Eve and this would be the first time in a long time that he would spend Christmas without Kassandrah. Karson and Kassi had known each other ever since they were little and when he got older, about fifteen, he was not shy to admit that he had a huge crush on her. He was surprised when she admitted she liked him, too. However, she wasn’t allowed to date until she was sixteen, since she was only fourteen at the time. So, a little over five years ago, on her sixteenth birthday, Karson took Kassi out on her first official date. They went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant, which was Kassandrah’s favorite, and then they went for a walk on the beach behind Kassi’s house. They stood barefoot on the shore and watched the shooting stars rain down from the sky.

Karson, look! They’re so beautiful! she said, gripping his arm.

They are, aren’t they? Quick! Make a wish, before they all go away!

She closed her eyes and Karson leaned over and gently placed a kiss
