About this ebook
Nelson has never been afraid of anything. Except himself.
A gorgeous, unmarried billionaire at age 30 with a craving for kinky threesomes, Nelson seems to attract the broken and the damaged. Just when he thinks he’s found a future with Samuel and Kimberly, Nelson’s former lovers reappear, still furious--and now suing--over a BDSM session gone bad.
He has never forgiven himself for what happened that night, and as old wounds are ripped open, he struggles to hide his darkest secrets and the truths they reveal about the man he really is.
Kimberly and Samuel have never been so happy, and they owe it all to Nelson. He's their dominating lover, their hero, their savior, and they don't care about his past mistakes. They need him, and they'll put everything on the line to prove that he's a good man.

Samuel glanced into the back seat as Nelson brought the luxury sedan to a stop. Kimberly was still fast asleep, her head leaned against the window. The temperature in the car was cranked up too warm for Samuel’s standards, but Kimberly had a soft woolen blanket pulled up snug to her chin. Her full lips were slightly parted, and a mass of dark, gleaming hair spilled over one of her shoulders and down to her waist.
She’s out,
Samuel whispered.
I’ll wake her after we unload.
Nelson ran a hand over his short hair and stared at the house, his broad shoulders tense.
Samuel knew that something bad had happened during Nelson’s business trip to Seattle. When he’d asked if everything was ok, Nelson brushed him off. Samuel knew a little something about wanting to be left alone, so he’d let it go.
But he would have to press the issue if Nelson didn’t start acting like himself soon.
I’m going to check if anyone’s still here,
Nelson said as he opened his door. It was only the middle of autumn, but apparently it was winter in Vermont because arctic air rushed into the car.
Kimberly’s eyes fluttered open. We’re here?
She clutched the blanket and sat up, blinking.
Be right back.
Nelson closed the door and walked away, his footsteps crunching on the gravel.
Samuel twisted in the seat. It’s dark out so I can’t see jack, but I can tell you that this place is unbelievable,
he said. The driveway is about eight miles long.
Yawning, Kimberly fumbled in her purse and located her phone. It’s so late. Why didn’t you wake me?
Traffic. Be glad you were asleep.
He zipped up his fleece. Brace yourself. I’m getting out.
He quickly stepped into the chilly night and closed the door behind him. Overhead, stars flickered in the black sky. He exhaled and watched the puff of breath dissipate.
Kimberly got out, the blanket still wrapped around her. I’m c-c-c-cold,
she said. And that was only a s-s-small exaggeration. Listen to me. I’m chattering like a windup set of geezer teeth.
Samuel wanted to put his arms around her and pull her close, warming her with his body. He wanted to ease the little tremors out of her. For her to snuggle in close to him, trusting him to protect her.
But they were just friends with benefits who had spent a grand total of two whole nights together. No, not even—he ran away the first night.
As if by some unwritten rule, they didn’t touch each other except right after sex. Though he planned for that to change by the end of their week in Vermont. He wanted more than her alluring curvy body, and he was going to convince her they should be together. He just needed to wait for the right time.
She began trembling even more, and Samuel instinctively wrapped his arms around her before he lost his nerve. Poor thing,
he murmured, rubbing his palms over her arms. The wind ruffled her hair, liberating the intoxicating scent of her floral shampoo. His cock stirred, and he shifted his hips so that Kimberly wouldn’t realize what was happening.
She sighed a little, leaned up against his chest. Look at that sky.
He grunted.
You’re awfully quiet.
That was because he was trying to stop himself from bending her over the hood of the car… I think something’s up with Nelson.
Nelson? Probably just stressed about dealing with his old company. The way they acted after the buyout was cruel. He’ll be fine. He’s the calmest person I’ve ever met.
Kimberly arched her head back. Heaven help him… her ass rubbed tantalizing against his thigh, and he bit back a groan.
Are you looking up? Aren’t you impressed?
she asked. The sky must be blanketed with stars.
Nelson’s footsteps came up behind them. Everything is a blanket with you,
he said. He laid a hand on Samuel’s shoulder. We’re so late that my assistants have all gone home. Help me unload.
Samuel’s shoulder tingled where Nelson touched him, and the warmth in his groin spread throughout his body. Even if it had been subzero outside, he wouldn’t have felt it. He was too keyed up. It had been two interminably long weeks since they’d all been together.
At least no one could blame Samuel this time. There was some emergency with Nelson’s former company, and he’d had to fly to Seattle to deal with it. Theoretically, Samuel and Kimberly could have slept together while Nelson was gone, but she hadn’t initiated it—hadn’t even seemed to consider it. Samuel had kept his hands to himself; the moment wasn’t right.
He turned to evaluate Nelson’s vacation home. It wasn’t quite what Samuel expected. Vacation house in Vermont
evoked images of a sturdy log cabin, a curl of smoke rising from the chimney, homespun curtains in the windows, and picturesque evergreens crowding every available bit of land. This place was carved into the side of a mountain, and it was more glass and granite than wood. Before they started up the long, steep driveway, Nelson had pointed it out. It looked like it might slide down the cliff.
Up close, it wasn’t precarious in the least, composed of three sprawling floors that blended seamlessly into the mountainside. Less log cabin, more eco-aware billionaire’s mansion. One of Samuel’s great-aunts lived in a similar (but much smaller) mansion of this style, but that was in the southwest.
Samuel had gotten one detail correct. The cliffside home emerged from dense, evergreen forest.
He grabbed the two heaviest suitcases and hauled them into a foyer that Samuel guessed was a servant’s entrance. What year was this built?
he asked Nelson as they walked back out together.
Late 1963. It’s based on a Frank Lloyd Wright house. Come check this out.
