About this ebook

Some of us like to chase after men, others can’t imagine ever pursuing a guy. But who will end up happier? The ones who chase, or the ones who don’t? And what are the consequences of both behaviors? This book answers questions such as:

Why do some men skip the chase, even if they like a woman?

Why do they wait for the girl to make that first move or try to game her into it?

Will he respect you after he’s taken what you’ve offered him on a plate?

When is the time to put a stop to pursuing a man, and let him pursue you?

What should a courtship look like? How to behave to be valued and attract a proper suitor?

The author talk mainly about why men pursue women, why they don't, and that it's important for a woman to avoid pursuing a man. I wish there was more of a discussion of how to inspire a great, attractive man to pursue a woman. What can a woman do to inspire a great man to chase her? This question wasn't addressed.

PART 1

Is it in a man’s instinct to pursue?

Yes. Do all men pursue? No. Why? Not all men have to pursue because there are plenty of women in this world who not only do that job for them, but also enjoy the chase. So is a courtship where the woman does the pursuing any different to the one where the man does? Quite. Among other reasons, women pursue men they feel a strong connection or chemistry with. Men pursue women that seem or are unobtainable, regardless of the strength of the connection they feel - because it’s their natural instinct to pursue.

I’m Magda B. Brajer, author of It Really Is All His Fault and The Break-up Bible, parts one and two. Over the last two years, I have been asked countless times to decode the game of the chase. Should I chase him? and why won’t he chase me? remain the most common questions I get from my readers, closely followed by - why has he gone off me? and should I leave him or pursue him? And of course, the most frequently pondered question - do all men chase? Well, this book contains all these answers and more.

So, firstly, do all men pursue? Well, they should do, but quite often they don’t, and why? Because not all of them have to. Imagine that from tomorrow, you will get paid without going to work. Would you still leave the house? Of course you wouldn’t! That’s your answer. If men had to pursue a woman they wanted affection from, or wanted to have a relationship with, or even just to have sex with, they damn would.

We will talk about this some more later, but for now let’s talk about chemistry. Most of us women choose partners based on the levels of chemistry or the connection we feel with men. Initially, you may have a type or a picture of your ideal man in your head. He might be tall, blonde and athletic. He might be a doctor. In your dreams he treats you like a princess, and drives you around in a Ferrari. Yet when you meet a man who you feel such a chemistry with, all that flies out of the window. Suddenly the doctor from
