    Writer’s BiographyGary Edward Haymes, RH, and CMA: I am 49 years of age and have practiced therapeutically self-hypnosis for twenty years. Twenty years ago after two years of suffering a serious health affliction I required major surgery that would leave me severely disfigured. I asked my doctor to consult his books for an alternative to surgery. Consulting his books the doctor chuckled when I asked him what’s so funny, he said “Hypnosis?” I said I want the best there is and that is what I got a psychologist-hypnotist. After several sessions I was 100% cured and have remained so. The doctor became my first self-hypnosis teacher and proved to me he could cure any non-predestined health problem.In order to attain improved skills I went to the Carson Institute and became a Registered therapeutically hypnotist: RH where part of the graduation was hypnotizing six different people, not students on videotape.I lecture to meditation groups of many types especially (Rekie) healers who I teach self-hypnosis techniques for their clients. Numerous people suffer all sorts of problems, some not health related – I see myself as a healer that uses the subconscious mind, the greatest unexplored territory remaining for humanity.I enjoy writing. I believe this is the best way to reach those who could benefit.
