INTRODUCTION
Four things for the reader:
First of all, if you’re reading this, I thank you. You’re saving my life. I’m at a point where I’m giving up and letting go of those crazy
dreams. I’ll never be that great wealthy writer that I dreamed of being. But, I’ll be happy enough knowing that someone will be reading my words. So, if you’re reading this, thank God for the internet and thank you for taking time to read my writing.
Secondly, writing is dangerous. My real name is not Echo Romeo. It’s a pseudonym, an alias, a nom de plume (I love that term). I use an alias because writing is dangerous. There are people’s feelings, situations, reputations and/or opinions to consider. I wrote some of this stuff when I was young and stupid- what would my children think? Names and incidents have been changed and events dramatized to protect the innocent. I’m unleashing my words into the world. Who knows what the consequences and effects will be?
Thirdly, I promise you that this stuff is worth while. I’m like most people in that I don’t really like poetry. Maybe I just don’t get
it or I just want somebody to explain it to me. But, I truly believe in what I’m doing. I consider my writing style like the constitution- it’s "for the people by the people". If you can’t find something interesting in each of these poems then I’ve failed you and I’ve failed myself. I promise you that I tried my best to make it interesting and entertaining.
Lastly, read on and enjoy.

GREATNESS
What we write today doesn’t have to be great
It doesn’t even have to be that good
I can say that at least I wrote something
Because in the future
My words will echo so loudly
Like a chorus of new voices
A blast from the
