This book is dedicated to the three women in my life for always supporting me – even in the midst of my failures. These women are my Wife (Samantha), my Daughter (Kennedi) and my Mother (Winnie).

    Foreword

This book will be the first in a series that will allow the reader to see the plan of God through Old Testament shadows. Until this material was released, many of the author’s students had discarded the Old Testament in their studies simply because they failed to understand its true application. God has always drawn specific pictures of Himself in the scriptures. He has also given His people the opportunity through the Holy Spirit to unveil those pictures and mysteries. He uses natural elements in the Old Testament to explain spiritual principles. This brief study will uncover how God uses Adam and others such as Cain, Abel, Seth, Noah and Joseph to explain his plan of redemption. He allows us to understand that His plan was the same in the beginning as it is today.

Once the reader begins to take a small glimpse at the depth and detail of God’s plan, he/she will begin to understand that only an omnipotent God can reveal Himself in detail(not vaguely) through different writers, eras, and dimensions without making an error. The author believes that every detail is significant and that the Word of God is perfect in its original language. This study covers Adam through Joseph but future studies will include other awesome pictures as seen through Moses, Joshua and others as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.

    In Memory

In loving memory of my grandmother Martha Mo Phillips:

Words can’t seem to express the void

    So, I won’t even try

There’s not enough tears that I can shed

So, I’ll do my best not to cry

I can’t wait until the Last Trump sounds

    And we’re all together again

Our family together with our LORD

In a world that has no end

Also in loving memory of my grandfather Arthur Shoulders:

The last time we talked, it was with laughter and joy. It’s amazing because the first time that we talk in eternity will be with laughter and joy.

Also in loving memory of my grandfather Ellis Griffis:

We’ve lost so many others in the past couple of years. There’s been so many that I don’t want to risk leaving

anyone out. You’re all in my thoughts and we’ll be

    together soon.
