For career coach Linda Anderson, the impending birth of her first child propelled her to consider smart ways of keeping work and family life in balance.
I worked fulltime and I wanted to keep my business strong, but I also wanted to have six months maternity leave to be available for my new baby,
she says.
Rather than writing off the challenge as impossible, Anderson fell back on her coaching skills. While the approach solved her own dilemma, it can do the same for others.
