I'm a mom and business owner in New Jersey. My organizing experience comes from the trenches. I’m the mother of three boys and two indoor cats. In addition, I own and operate an art studio for children in my home, and, along with my husband, we own a house flipping business. I also run an organic food co-op out of my garage every other week. Sounds busy, right? But my house is always neat, my systems always work, and my life is sane and orderly. And my family and I have lots of time for fun together!

If you’re like most people, you wish you were more organized. All that time you spend looking for lost items, shoving things in closets, squishing just one more thing in one more place – that time could be spent doing much more enjoyable things – and that’s why you’re reading this. Wouldn’t it be great if you could find what you were looking for in the first place you looked? Or bring home something from the store and actually have a place to store it?
Now, if you are like most
people, you wish you were more organized, but the task seems overwhelming. Where do you start? How can the mountains of clutter be scaled? The answer is in just a few minutes a day – little steps at a time. After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day, but you can make major inroads with your stuff in just a short amount of time. And once your house is more organized and running smoother, your mind will follow…...it will get easier and easier to clean up, pare down and keep your home running smoother.
That’s what this eBook is all about. Contained within its electronic covers you will find much more than 30 time proven, best of the best, never fail strategies to organize your home. You will also find lists and forms that I use to make life easier. And who might I be, you may ask? Am I a professional organizer? A CEO of a major company? Nope – nothing as elite as that - my experience comes from the trenches. I’m a mom of three boys, and two indoor cats. In addition, I own and operate an art studio for children in my home, and, along with my husband, we own a house flipping business. I also run an organic food co-op out of my garage every other week. Sounds busy, right? Well, my husband and I host parties almost every month, socialize with friends all the time – and our house is always neat, clean and user friendly. I cook a homemade dinner from scratch usually every night. We clean our own house, no cleaning ladies here. Granted, our house isn’t huge, it’s a Cape Cod style home, but every part of it is usable. Week after week, year after year, all runs smoothly because our home is organized and works with us, not against us. Every idea I give you here is something I actually use. Time tested, family approved, useful information.
So, let’s get started. And let’s set the record straight, right from the start. It is impossible to organize your entire house in a day. You may be able to get it cleaned up, but it will never stay that way. The best way to do this is small steps at a time, and that is how I organized this book. It is divided up into small sections so you can tackle it day by day. 30 days, 30 different sections of ideas for different areas of your home that seem to attract clutter and mess. Within each section, I describe in great detail tips that will make your life easier. I’ve also included a few quick easy ideas to help you get started. Don’t worry, none of the tips will be too complicated or time consuming. That wouldn’t be of any help to you at all! In addition, I’ll end with proven ways to keep your newly organized home organized. Because, after all, if you can’t keep your new systems and procedures going after you set them up – what good are they to you?
Ready? Let's get started……………….
Five Easy Tips To Live By:
1. If you take it out, put it away.
2. If you use it up, refill it or throw it away.
3. If it doesn’t bring you happiness and joy each time you look at it, get rid of it.
4. If you can’t use it, give it away.
5. If you haven’t used it in a year, get rid of it.
If you live your life by those simple guidelines, I guarantee your will never be drowning in stuff.
But first, you have to get rid of some stuff, so on to the nuts and bolts of how to do just that……………..
As I said before, this book is divided
