      Introduction

      Welcome to one of the oddest ideas for a book I've ever had. That's saying something, considering some of the book ideas you just haven't seen yet... but there you go. I'm not even sure, to be honest, where it came from – except that it started with the title story, Bad Fuck. Suddenly, after I'd written that one, it seemed like a brilliant idea to write an entire book's worth of stories around the theme of bad fucks... the darker side of sex and love.

      Each short-short is somewhere between 300 and 1500 words long – most on the smaller end of that range. They're mostly mainstream-genre with a bit of horror, science fiction and fantasy-with-unicorns-and-fairies thrown in for good measure. I'm hoping that you'll find something to make you smile, and maybe think, within this collection.
