About this ebook
Jack Fraser is an ordinary guy working globally for major oil companies. He ends up on assignment in Singapore. There his normal life is turned upside down as he enters into a relationship with the wrong woman and travels to Thailand to learn about life and all it holds in the erotic and exotic orient.
Little does Jack know that this one particular Thai woman carries with her a lifetime of excess baggage. In the shape of criminal underworld activities, sex for sale scandals and a box full of precious stones.
One of the diamonds is a very big, blue, flawless diamond.
There is plenty of action, drama, romance and humour as Jack ends up chased by the German Customs, Thai Mafia, the Thai Police, German diamond smugglers and many Thai women.
Jack Fraser
A Scottish Engineer with over 33 years global experience working in the oil and gas industry. I've travelled to 35 countries. My early career was spent working long hard shifts on the cold grey waters off the N.E. coast of Scotland. For the last 15 years my work has taken to some of the harshest environments on the planet. From the searing heat of the Algerian desert, Saudi and Qatar, to the bitter biting cold winters of Northern Norway and Kazakhstan. The sweltering tropics of Brazil, Equatorial Guinea and Singapore. The oil companies have housed me in accommodation that has varied from five star hotels to sharing sweaty, cramped cabins on some really rough, rusty old oil rigs. They fed me from gourmet luxury menus and enticed my palette with some appalling meals that resembled rotten road kill crawling with roaches. All that is hopefully behind me. For now I live in Thailand with its benign, warm climate and its sultry sea breezes wafting off the Bay of Siam. Dusky brown maidens catering to my every whim. Life does not get any better than this. I like to preserve my anonymity so I write under the ‘nom de plume’ Jack Fraser. “The Big Blue Diamond” is my first novel. I only hope everyone who reads it enjoys the story.
