About this ebook
Mac Patrick, Pacific Northwest rigger and motorcycle enthusiast describes...An Adventure of a Lifetime! Mexico On A Motorcycle is the result of a 17,358 mile Motor Tour that the author took on a BMW R 1200 GS into the heart of Mexico.
This eBook, coming soon to print-on-demand, features travel notes, map, trip statistics and over 100 stunning color photographs!
The authors' words: "In 2009 an amazing opportunity to ‘get away from it all’ presented itself to me. It was at the pinnacle of a bad economy and dismal recovery forecasts that I decided to grasp at this chance –and turn it into an opportunity for Riding Out The Recession. After months of preparation, in November, on a sparkling bright day I turned the ignition, checked the mirrors, and zoomed into four months, two weeks, and two days of being on the road. And, it was 17,358 miles later that I wrote of my experience and sorted through over 4,000 photographs and videos in order to tell about Mexico On A Motorcycle: Riding Out The Recession.
If you say, “Yes!” to the excitement of hopping on a bike and charging full throttle into the world, this is the book for you. If you ride, and ‘the ride’ is your destination, again, this book is for you!"
Mexico! The Sun! The Music! The Food! The People! The Parades! All captured here in this collection of nearly one-hundred stunning color pictures - from bright sunny days in the pueblas and on the road, to sparkling night shots featuring street scenes, and the moon hanging heavily over the water - this travelogue includes it all.
Featured in this expose is a photograph of the oft-described, but seldom photographed, infamous 'conch tree' at the end of the road! A Must See!
Mac Patrick
Mac Patrick is the nom de plume for Pacific Northwest marine rigger, and motorcycle enthusiast; a true 'solitary man'. His well-documented 17,358 mile motorcycle tour of the United States and Mexico has been vetted by his publisher, A.V. Harrison Publishing, and tracked by BMW dealers, and the Pacific Northwest sailboat community. Take The Ride!

Introduction
In 2009 an amazing opportunity to ‘get away from it all’ presented itself to me.
I hope that the telling of this ride – as much an odyssey – will spark the wanderlust in you and inspire your Inner Explorer.
If you say, Yes!
to the excitement of hopping on a bike and charging full throttle into the world, this is the book for you. If you ride, and ‘the ride’ is your destination, again, this book is for you!
I started riding many years ago, with many years between having been spent with no bike. The fun and adventure of riding was always in the back of my mind. I have always enjoyed the open feeling of freedom that riding provides. Though many risks abound, most can be mitigated with planning and care.
