Five... four... three... two... one... here we go folks, Jay called as they went on the air.

Anchors Julia Tribianda and Austin White began their spiel and Jay relaxed back in his chair, watching everything. He was the puppet master and those two nationally loved, beautiful people were his puppets. All he had to do was pull a string and they did what he wanted. Shit. Is that who I think it is? He felt people crowding in around behind him, trying to see. In the background he could still hear the anchors giving their news report, having no idea what was happening in the control room.

That's Simon Peters! a man said disbelievingly.

The young man, boy really, was chained to the bed with his arms and legs spread-eagle. Except for the black cloth bound across his eyes, he was naked. There were red scratches on his chest, but otherwise he was almost too perfect to be real.

For a second Jay hoped that this was just some kind
