Chapter One
The brightest kid in living history was born into this world on the hottest day of the year.It was August 4th, 2004. Location - Phoenix Arizona. His name- Michael Kyle Sharp.
‘Mickey’s Moon’ as it would one day be known, would be recognised throughout the entire world and would re-write all the history books and challenge the laws of physics. Religion would be dismissed, chemical formulas would be proved wrong and the very basis of our existence would be doubted.
Mickey was the pride and joy of mum and dad, Ernie and Sam.
Mick’s dad was a very famous professor who had been the winner of 3 Nobel Peace Prizes for his advancements in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. This was theirvery first child.
Ernie waited nervously at the hospital for news that everything had gone well.He paced back and fore like a soldier and did not sit down even once. Eventually the door finally swung open and a nurse marched in with a huge grin on her facesaying, Congratulations Mr. Sharp. You have a new baby boy – bright blue sparkling eyes and a mop of blonde curly hair. He is gorgeous!
She held the little boy out to him. He was wrapped in a lovely royal blue fluffy blanket. Ernie and Sam were delighted; they were the proudest parents in the whole wide world.
That night Professor Sharp retired to his study after helping his wife feed their new baby.
It had been an exhausting yet exciting day. He yawned and started to work on his latest mathematics project. Mick’s proud grandparents, along with what seemed the entire neighbourhood, had been round to offer their congratulations. The house was like a nursery! There were many presents and toys littered all over place. It was a very happy occasion.
Things started to get back to normal as the Sharps continued their daily routines. Mick was the love of their life and they spent many hours playing with him.Mick was a lovely baby; he never cried and was very well behaved. Amazingly enough he did not like to play with toys. He hated them. Mickey was far more interested in his Dad’s mobile phone and he loved books and puzzles. Family and friends were continually amazed at this forhe was only one year old. Many were amazed at his logical and perception skills and so his dad wanted to give him a jigsaw puzzle for his first Birthday.
August 4th was the big day; Mick’s Birthday. Celebrations had been planned in
