      I'm still dizzy from earlier. The house shook and rattled and flung me out of bed. It does that every morning but I forgot to strap myself down last night.

      I need to see a doctor. I think I may have a concussion, I told Bailey. Bailey is what the house calls itself. Sometimes it changes depending on its mood. Last time it was Leopold. Before that it was Eleni because it wanted to have an exotic female name. But today it's Bailey, which is confusing because it can go either way.

      It's you're fault for not strapping yourself down last night. Walk it off, it says.

      I can't walk, the room is spinning. I say back.

      I mean that literally. The room is actually spinning because this house is a bitch. Or an asshole. Depending on its mood.

      Ok, I'll stop spinning it but you have to fix me up today, it says.

      I've fixed you up as much as I can, I don't know what else to do, I tell it.

      I feel ugly. I want you to paint me pretty, it tells me.

      Of all the houses in this block I had to get one with the low-self esteem. The agent should've disclosed that to me. The inspector didn't catch it either. Now I'm stuck with this.
