And right now, anything means getting the ruggedly handsome Zach Taylor to sell his valuable Catalina Island property in gorgeous Southern California. Forced to slow down by the magic of the island and the solitary Zach, Isabelle soon realizes that falling for the mysterious pilot could mean having to finally take the greatest risk of her life.

A daredevil Coast Guard pilot running from his past, Zach wants Isabelle off the island and out of his life as fast as she came in. She’s everything he’s tried to get away from, but even he can’t deny the simmering attraction between them. But are their soul-shattering kisses and great sex just part of her plan? Will he figure out in time that the only deal Isabelle really wants to seal is the one for his heart?

Zach Taylor lives his life tormented by something that happened in his past. He feels that he can not be happy or go down a path that could lead to happiness. Isabelle O'Conner has come to Catalina Island on a mission. She is to meet with Mr. Taylor and get him to sign some paperwork. Sounds easy, but it is not. Mr. Taylor is not at the meeting place and once found, refuses to even look at the papers. The book continues with the sparring of Isabelle and Zach and what comes out it is a few laughs, some arguments, misunderstandings, a blossoming relationship and life reborn. I do not read a whole lot of romances but I found the book to be a good, easy read. There were a few areas that surround sex and sexual innuendo but none where tawdry or too described, which I found to be nice. I felt the process of rebuilding a life after tragedy and the stages of grief were well written. I also understood the struggle with demons within that ultimately brought out love, respect and new beginnings. The authors touches of moral vs. immoral thoughts and how we deal with them was subtle but tied the book up nicely. I am glad that I was chosen to receive a complimentary kindle edition (from book rooster) of this book for my review.

He Loves Me—He Loves Me Not!Isabelle is spunky, aggressive, and determined to do whatever it takes to keep her job as the best real estate agent at Paramount Realty--even if it means chasing Zach Taylor all over Catalina. Zach has closed himself off from all emotion, and considers Isabelle nothing but a pesky nuisance. He’s not going to sell his house—no matter what. It’s the only link he has left to connect him to his family, which is now gone. What Zach doesn’t know is that Isabelle has never lost a sale—ever. And so the cat and mouse games begin. Zach runs—Isabelle follows . . . and, soon they realize that there is more at stake here than just the sale of a house. House? What house?“Nights on Catalina” is a light, fun, on again/off again romantic tale. It’s the type of book that is great to curl up with for a rainy day or a weekend at the beach. I'd like to thank the author for this lovely copy of this book and to Review the Book.com for this opportunity to review the book.
