    Priscilla Alexander needs to get away from her stressful job as an advertising executive in San Francisco. In addition, her soon-to-be divorced mom has moved into Priscilla's small condo. Her mom means well, but her hovering is driving Priscilla crazy. When Priscilla reads a magazine article about vacationing in the Australian Outback, she knows that's where she needs to go to find herself. As Priscilla has come realize, sometimes escape is the only option.

    Priscilla has been dreaming about meeting a to-die-for hunk in her travels. Will she find the man of her dreams in the Outback?

    This is a short story prequel to "Outback Love," a contemporary romance novel set in the Australian Outback.

    I was born and raised in southern California where I grew up learning to surf (usually under the board), scuba dive (at Catalina Island), water-ski (in lakes, rivers and even the ocean), snow-ski (in local mountains and out of state locales), and ride horses (I had two, Sebastian and Chantilly). I was mostly a tom-boy and spent much of my time climbing trees and playing baseball. My husband and I have moved back and forth across the country, so we've made our homes in Nevada, Georgia, Texas and Florida. Now that my husband is retired, we're back home in Florida near the white surgar-sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Gulf Coast. I love writing books (mostly romances), blogging, painting (landscapes and still-lifes in oils), photography (digital), travel (when I can afford it), going to the beach, getting together with friends and family, and playing with my three young grandkids (full of energy) and two big dogs (Shani and Dude).       Priscilla Alexander leaned against the door to her office. She was breathing hard, her heart racing, no, pounding. She tried to take slow, deep breaths, but it was no use. Feeling weak at the knees, she slowly sank to the floor. Not again! Not another panic attack! Not today!
