    With self confidence the man moved a few treadmills down till he was beside her.

    Striking a conversation with the girl was not the easiest thing he did since she seemed reserved and shy. Unsure of her age, he struck up a benign conversation.

    Hey, said the nonchalant runner.

    Hello, said the beautiful girl with the expressive alluring eyes. Her accent was strong, her voice sing song to his ears.

    How are you?

    I am doing well, thank you, said the woman, English impeccable although he would never know since his English was piss poor. How are you?

    I am good, said the ignoramus. Come here often?

    If she was rude, she would have asked how he knew he was so good? If she was uncouth, she could have asked how good was he and who told him he was, good? But, she was neither.

    So, at the inane question she raised dark eyebrows and gave him a lopsided smile. Her lush lips moved and he stared at their fullness.

    Do you always ask such silly questions?

    Sorry, I'm a little nervous.

    Nervous because of me or just in general talking to women?

    With great intention he looked down at her thin long fingers inspecting her left hand for tell tale signs of a ring. Sure enough, a diamond was wedged in the ring finger of her left hand that held onto the treadmill bar.

    Nervous talking to a beautiful woman such as yourself, answered the man with another cliche.

    Again she smiled with
