About this ebook

111 The Path is a documented conversation between Guy David Uriel and spiritual beings from another dimension who are essentially an extension of us. Throughout the conversation, the spirits reveal an old spiritual path that has gone ignored over the centuries and eventually forgotten. The book tells us about our abandonment of this old and simple way while attempting to revive it and set us back on the right track.
Why are the spirits choosing to reveal their message now? What is so special about this time and place? And why did they choose Guy as the one to spread it? Many have claimed to speak with God, to carry his message and be witnesses to the truth. What makes “The Path” different? The spirits are quite clear that both the timing of this message and the choice of messenger are deliberate. They remind us that we can read about God all we want, but we will never truly know him unless we seek Him. The problem is that humanity has chosen to worship false idols and follow false teachings for thousands of years, setting us on a path that deprives us of our true spiritual potential. Guy has always seen things a bit differently and, according to the spirits, closer to how they were meant to be seen. The spirits fear for the future of humanity as well as the afterlife unless we change the way we think. This takes a messenger who is not only open to hearing the truth from our universal spirit guides, but willing to convey it to others so that it makes sense. The Path is a journey, and its revelation comes at a time when ideas can be freely exchanged without fear of retribution.
It’s only natural to wonder, what is “The Path?” What do I need in order to travel on it? How do I prepare for the journey? Is there a right and wrong path? And if so, how do I know I’m on the right one? In fact, how many paths are there? The spirits reveal the truth as we journey through the here and now. And the answers are not always what you might expect. The truth is that we don’t need any books, idols, artifacts or belief systems to guide us. Rather we need to think and feel for ourselves. We need to use our own senses to judge what is right and what is wrong. And we need to follow our hearts. The spirits want to release us from the confines of religious orthodoxy that have slowly stripped us of open-minded thinking and free will. They reveal the origin behind myths like hell and sin – how they have been used to control followers and ultimately lead them away from their true potential. We learn about our soul mates, past life experiences and the secret to evolving as beings. “The Path” provides answers to questions many of us have held for a long time, and with this knowledge, a way for each of us to achieve individual greatness.
Every one of us can walk the path. Start your journey today.

Author

Guy David Uriel

Guy David Uriel was born in Israel and, although raised in the Jewish faith, immediately began questioning the validity of its holy writings based on discrepancies he observed. In 1993, he moved to the United States where he ran several successful businesses. In 2006, he decided to combine a lifelong love of motorsports with business. So he purchased a plot of land and began the lengthy, arduous permitting process required for building a motorsports complex. Just when all the proper authorizations had finally been granted, the great real estate collapse of 2008 struck, causing his financial backers to pull out one by one. There was nothing he could do; he was forced to watch from the grandstands as his dream crumbled to dust. Broke and disenchanted, he vowed to pick himself up, start living life to the fullest, and hold no regrets. Little did he know that these experiences would shape what would come next. In 2010, he would first experience an indescribable event that would forever change his life. An event he felt he was not ready for nor was ever looking to explore. He was initially clueless on how to respond. He would be called upon to embark on a spiritual journey. He started conversing with spiritual beings who are, in essence, very much "us." His communications with them would have remained a secret had they not asked Him to write a book about it. While he had been documenting these conversations for quite some time, he never even had the intention of telling close family and friends let alone publishing them for the world to know. But as they progressed, he became convinced that the constraints of modern religion were in fact jeopardizing our spiritual evolution and realized that, one day, the need to spread the word would be inescapable. When the request eventually did come, despite his trepidation on undertaking a job of this magnitude, he found himself halfheartedly answering the call. He now carry the message. That every one of us can evolve into a better being. That we can each walk the path in our own unique way. So it's time to spread the message. How the world will take it is the only real mystery now. But until that is answered, he'll share this personal message from the spirits with you: "Free your mind and see what the universe has to offer."

111 The Path - Guy David Uriel

    Introduction

    And so it begins

Ha, ha, ha! Me? Are you kidding? That was my first reaction when I was told I needed to write a book. Me writing. Yeah right. In my wildest dreams, I would have never imagined writing any book, let alone one about the journey I was about to embark upon. A journey that was set in motion for me. A journey which I was not prepared for. You see, I was told it was my destiny to write this book. Yet this calling seemed oddly out of place, as I don’t have the patience or the skills required for writing. Don’t get me wrong. I have so much to say, but my own controversial way of thinking usually creates conflict with many people.

How do I start? Deep breath. I really can’t find any way to convey this information gently, so it’s best if I just say it outright and get it over with. I’ve been keeping a secret. For a while now, I’ve been conversing with spirits from another dimension. Okay, that’s it. It’s out. You’ll get to know them very soon, as they have so much to tell us. Apparently, they are us and we are them. They’re souls who travel between two dimensions. In this dimension, they inhabit the physical body with all their limitations, while in the spirit dimension, they possess abilities we can only dream of.

I’ve probably shocked you already, and now you’re deciding whether you should keep reading or turn this book into a paperweight. (Or maybe even use it for firewood.) I’ve thought long and hard about how I should start the book, and I realized the only way to start is with the brutal truth. Now that it’s done, it’s up to you to decide if you wish to continue and discover what they have to tell us. Even if you’re a skeptic, open your mind and see if it makes a dent in your belief system. After all, you’re already holding the book in your hand, so why not give it a try? You may be pleasantly surprised with the knowledge they have to offer us. I know it’s a bit confusing now, but it’ll become clearer as you keep on reading.

For those of you who’ve experienced some unexplainable events that led you to search for a new understanding, they and we need you now more than ever. It is a movement to help us and them reach higher levels of spirituality and understanding.

So why now? And why me? I will tell you all about it later in the book.

Personally, I had second thoughts about writing on this subject, as there are many cynics in the world who will call me crazy just for suggesting I’m conversing with the spirits. But the voices are real, and they’ve given me ample proof that they are who they say they are.

To be honest, I’m not what you would call a spiritual person. I don’t read much about the subject, and although I love documentaries, I’ve never watched any on spirituality (at least not until they started conversing with me). When I asked the question, Why me?, I understood that regardless of the answer, I was now bound to continue. You see, I have a weakness (though they consider it a greatness). It’s my constant thirst for knowledge. And it’s not every day that an opportunity like this knocks on your door. So I had – or rather I was forced by my own curiosity – to see what message and knowledge they have for us.

The voices started by telling me it’s time to accept the spirits’ energy as it transitions through the human body. When I heard the voices for the first time in 2010, I have to be honest: I got really scared. I asked, Who are you? And the voices responded saying, We are not God. Boy, that was a relief.

    Who are you then?

    We are who we are.

Hmmm. I’ve heard a similar phrase before.

The spirits kept talking to me, telling me wonderful things about their world and, in the process, confirming and strengthening my own beliefs. Right then and there, I knew that I could not deny an opportunity such as this to abide their request; to put our conversations in writing for others to read.

I’m asking you to keep an open mind, as many things in this book are in contrast to the contemporary beliefs we’re accustomed to.

This is the first time I’m sharing this experience with anyone other than my wife and friends. I can tell you it’s hard to talk about a sensitive subject such as this, even for someone like me who is not usually dissuaded by the judgments of others. But as I will explain later, the spirits have helped me remove any fear of the criticism that will certainly follow.

So what’s it like to talk to them? What is it they have to tell us? Can they predict the future? How long have they been in existence? Are they God’s creation? All questions will be answered in due time. And believe me, I have lots of questions.

I remember the first time I told my wife about my conversations with them. I was a little worried about her reaction; but to my surprise, she had been prepped for this revelation through her own guardian spirits, it seemed. I was relieved. Then, while driving to our favorite restaurant for Sunday breakfast, I blurted out that I might be needed to engage in some public speaking on this controversial subject. I asked for her opinion on whether she thought me capable of doing so. You see, talking is not my problem. No, the problem is that I’m often too bold when stating my opinion and, sometimes in the process, I offend people. In fact, my wife is always afraid of me offending others (I was told many other wives feel the same about their husbands) and claims I frequently interrupt others. Alright, I have to admit I’m guilty as charged. Even though this culturally inherited trait has diminished significantly as I’ve gotten older, it is still and perhaps always will be a part of me. As a true fan of the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution, I believe it is my right to convey my point of view regardless of who may disagree with it.

The reason I mention freedom of speech is because of the importance of their teachings. What they are teaching is the truth, which many will try to condemn. Many western countries do not truly value what freedom of speech stands for. Their citizens never lived in a country that forcibly suppressed their right to speak, their right to believe.

Galileo Galilei was an Italian astronomer who, among other things, challenged official church doctrine by theorizing that the sun, not the earth, was the center of the solar system. In 1633, a Roman Catholic inquisition convicted him of heresy and forced him to recant his theory publicly. They sentenced him to life imprisonment, but due to his age, allowed him to serve the term under house arrest at his villa in Arcetri outside Florence. We all know today that Galileo’s theory was in fact correct. In every society, there are those who wish to silence others with whom they disagree; especially those who they feel pose a threat to the status quo. That is why I’m very proud to live in the United States, where we’re protected under the first amendment from the would-be silencers. At least for the time being.

Now back to that Sunday morning drive for breakfast. My wife turned to me and, to my surprise, said she didn’t think it was a bad idea. She explained that writing a book or speaking in front of crowds does not require conversing, but rather simply stating my point of view (or, in this case, the spirits’ point of view). Since it’s a one way presentation, no arguments would arise, which would please my wife.

So what about the spirits’ words are controversial? It’s everything they say. They’ll set things right. Or at least they’ll try, and hopefully for the last time. (Yes, they tried before and failed.) But in so trying, they will shake the foundations of all faiths.

When I was a young boy studying the Bible in school, I tended to get in trouble with my questions about it. I doubted many of the writings, passages and interpretations, and whenever I asked a question, the answer simply did not make sense to me. It was always based on the writings of people who lived a long time ago, but still today garner unflinching respect as if they were the only authority on the Bible. It’s as if new interpretations are simply unwelcome. I wanted to scream that the emperor is naked! Why can’t we just read the bible for what it is? Why is it that everyone is so afraid to state the obvious truth? In the emperor story, his subjects eventually did come to realize the truth; but in regard to the holy books, very few would dare state what they truly see and think.

One answer I always hated was, Because it is written. Apparently, if it is written, it is so… especially if it’s old. The sad part is that, in homework and on tests, I had to provide the expected answers in order to get good grades, but under no condition did I actually believe what I wrote. I remember sitting down for the Shabbat dinner with my family on more than one occasion and arguing about religion. It’s amazing that even Judaism has many branches that disagree on how traditions should be carried out. When I was young, my dad used to get mad and hush me when I stated my opinions. I remember his words, flatly saying it’s written in the book and that is it. I never understood how anyone could blindly take the words of a book and claim them as truth. I understand there are many historical facts in that book, but I’m also aware that it contains a great deal of fiction.

If you ask any religious man what they think about the book that represents their faith, they would likely say it is the last word, even if the stories it contains sound like fairy tales. Am I to except that God revealed Himself to ancient people, but chooses not to reveal Himself to us? Why? Why reveal divine miracles to the ancients and subsequently negate their need for faith, but require faith from us? Am I supposed to better understand God through the filter of a book without questioning anything written in it? Well, now I have a good reason not to.

Don’t get me wrong. I do believe in God. I always did. And it has been confirmed to me that God does exist; but he is not the God we thought he was. I was told by my spirits that having some faith is better than having none at all, so long as it’s not forced upon you or perverted in ways that threaten you. It cannot interfere with other religions or the people’s right to exist. The spirits told me that religion in itself does hold many essential values for living your life as a good person with good morals.

In this book, we’ll cover the one true natural way to approach God as they know it, and hopefully you will come away convinced. They will show us how simplifying your life will help you reach happiness both now and in the afterlife. They will show us that there are many paths to reach God and will tell us great stories to convey their message.

In the past, Jewish people did not have last names. They were only recognized by their first names and their father’s first names (i.e., Jacob, son of Abraham). Later on, they acquired last names that were relevant to their professions – a unique development as society evolved. Imagine telling a person your name, and he already knows what you do for a living. Your name is essentially your business card. In the mid 60’s, my dad decided to change his last name to Uriel, which is my last name from birth. Uriel means God is my Light or Flame of God. So here I am, funny enough, acting out the profession my last name describes by bringing God’s light to you in the simplest way intended. I thank God for this amazing opportunity and the ability to receive this information.

Okay, so why am I really writing all of this? We’ve already established that I’m not a writer, never have been, and pretty much never felt the need to write anything about my beliefs, let alone share them with others. I must admit, when I was young, I told my mother how one day I would write a book about my simple interpretation of the Bible as I read it. I thought that dream had died a long time ago. But apparently I was wrong. A year and a half ago, I was told that it was my purpose to write a book. It wasn’t the way I planned it as a kid, but nevertheless, it was planned. Just from a different time and place altogether. And it wouldn’t happen until I was into my early forties.

So what are the voices telling me? Well, after affirming that they were not the voice of God, they assured me that the things going through my mind, on how I viewed the world in relation to God, family and business were correct, and it was time to share them with the world.

Who are you? And please be more specific this time, I asked.

You are us and we are you. We’re spirits. We live in a dimension beyond your own, and we can see you. We are all one in our evolution.

Why are you talking to me?

    It was preordained.

    By whom?

    By you.

    I don’t understand.

You will. In time, we will explain. For right now, you’re overwhelmed by hearing us. We need you to relax and get used to us. We’re not going away. Our conversations will last a long time and you will have to write it down afterward.

And so it started. A year and a half ago, I started documenting more and more of what I learned from these spirits. For me, it intensified my views of the world and of religions. It confirmed and strengthened what I already believed deep in my heart. It took me on a real journey.

If you search for spiritual understanding and God, then this is the book for you.

    Chapter 1

    Why?

Why? Why talk to me? Why now?

It is time to set things right. At least for the few who need it. Imagine the following scenario: In the near future, humanity as we know it will cease to exist, and only a few survivors are left to rise again. Now imagine that those survivors never heard of any past religions or that no religious books survived. What would they do? How would they see the world? Would they be able to see God? Would their point of view lead them to one of today’s religions? It happened before and it will happen again. There is a traditional Jewish story that is not found in the Torah (the Jewish name for the first five books of the Hebrew Bible) about Abraham, who lived a long time ago in the country of Ur. The people of Ur worshipped many statues made of wood or stone, but Abraham felt in his heart that these Gods were not worthy of worship. They were cold, useless objects created by man and could do nothing. How could they possibly be God? Abraham was very open-minded and decided to search for God. He looked up to the sky and saw the moon shining bright. He reasoned that the moon lights the sky and guides the travelers, so the moon must be God. Abraham worshiped the moon all night. But come morning, the moon disappeared and the sun rose in the sky. The sun was bigger and brighter than the moon. Abraham thought about this. Without the sun, nothing would grow, so the sun must be God. Abraham then decided to worship the sun all day. But when the evening came and the sun disappeared, Abraham realized that neither the sun nor the moon could be God. Instead, Abraham concluded that God is the one who makes the sun and the moon rise and fall in the sky. He is the one who showed me this, so he and only he is worthy of worship. And that is how Abraham got to know of the one true God. One God.

Is that how the survivors will come up with their understanding? Through observation?

It is one possible scenario. But there are other more undesirable possibilities as well.

Abraham is just a story, so what would be the argument that would lead them into finding God again?

The same old arguments. There have always been two sides to those who argue over God’s existence. Those who say he exists, and those who say he doesn’t. Understanding what kind of God was irrelevant. Religion would tell you that God’s existence is an absolute necessity as the basis for divine authority and faith, and that it is possible to demonstrate by reason that there must be a God. Saint Thomas Aquinas, a 13th century Italian Dominican priest, famously formulated the five ways by which God’s existence can be demonstrated philosophically. First is the unmoved mover argument, which says there is motion in the world, and whatever is in motion is moved by another thing. Things that cannot cause their own motion must be moved by something to avoid an infinite regression; we therefore must point to a first mover, which can only be God. The second is the nothing is caused by itself argument. For everything, there is a creator. For example, furniture is created by a person; the person was created by his parents; and so on down the line. However, there must ultimately be an original creator, which is God. Third is the cosmological argument, which states all physical things come into existence like stars and galaxies, no matter how long they last. Because time is infinite, there must have been a time where none of these things existed. But if there was nothing at one point in time, how could there be anything at all today?

Nothing cannot cause something; therefore, there has to be a God who designs all things. The fourth is the degrees of perfection argument. Objects have properties to greater or lesser extents. So if a given object has a lesser extent of property X, then there must exist some object with the maximum possible extent of property X. And if there is an entity that has all properties to the maximum degree, God must exist. Finally, the fifth and last is the intelligent design argument. All things move toward a goal. Just as the bullet does not shoot toward the target except by the shooter directing it, there must be an intelligent designer who directs all things toward their goals. Hence, God exists.

But what about the arguments against God’s existence?

There are many arguments given by philosophers, atheists and agnostics. For instance, if God can prevent evil but doesn’t, than He isn’t all loving. If God intends to prevent evil but cannot, than He isn’t all powerful. If God both intends to prevent evil and is capable of doing so, than how can evil exist? These conundrums have convinced many that the only possible conclusion is that God cannot exist.

    So does God exist?

    Yes.

    Have you seen Him?

We are not sure you can call Him Him. As a matter of fact, we are not sure if it’s Him, Her or It. But no, we have not seen God. We sense God.

    You do?

We will spend a whole chapter on this later. But we want to go back to the survivors who have by now realized that God does exist, and that their life must have a meaning. What will they find? It would probably be a process over many centuries with many Gods along the way before they realized that God could not be made into a figuring or statue. In seeking order from chaos, they will create laws and sometimes use God as the basis for it.

They will take many wrong paths, not realizing that these paths are not God’s intention. Unfortunately, most people are clueless. They’re not good observers. And they will keep on seeking guidance from the wrong sources. That is how religion begins all over again.

What is so wrong with religion, assuming we’re talking about a religion that does not affect anyone else?

It prevents you from developing. It does not allow you to exercise your mind. It stops your energy from growing. The problem with many current beliefs is the limitations they impose on your ability to develop spiritually. These beliefs often come into conflict with new scientific discoveries of the universe. Examples include the belief that God gives great importance to the earth over other celestial objects or that God will favor those who follow him according to the rules set by the holy books.

And I am to assume that none of this is true?

Every corner of the universe is created equally. And every piece of material is equally important. God does not require anything from us. You are his unconditional creation. He loves and cares for you all the same, and He does not interfere with our affairs at all (which we will explain later on).

Why can’t others see God as he truly is?

For ages, current religions persuaded people into their faith by fear and force. (It still happens today in some parts of the world.) People kept their mouths shut and their beliefs in shadow. Today however, more and more countries have a democracy where state and religion are separated; where freedom of speech is fully enforced. This has brought about many new ideas that show the road to God might not be what they say it is. Believing in God without needing a place of worship or a religious structure threatens the fiscal stability of any religion, which is a major reason why the church is so powerful and rejects changes of this kind. Most religions are treated as a business instead of a path for relating to God. We will
