About this ebook
Tips on how to double, or even triple, your stay in paradise. My partner, Natasha, and I quit our jobs and moved to Negril, Jamaica with very little money in our pockets. Our goal was to immerse ourselves in the local culture, and to live there as long, and as cheaply, as possible. What most people spend on a two week vacation in Negril, we were able to stretch into months. We took all of the tips and tricks we were taught by locals, and learned through trial and error, and included them in this ebook so others would be able to do the same. In this ebook you'll learn the exact steps to take on how to get from Montego Bay airport, to your destination in Negril, for under $10usd (it will cost the other tourists $50-$80usd). You'll learn how to shop, and eat, like a local saving hundreds of dollars on your trip. You'll learn how to navigate Negril, and the whole island, on the cheap. We'll show you how to get from the beach, to Rick's Cafe, for around $2usd (the other tourists are paying up to $20usd). Our ebook is loaded with tips on how to extend your stay in Negril. It should be noted though, this is a book for budget travelers. If you're used to the luxury, and seclusion, of the all-inclusive resorts, or feel that Jamaicans are only there to wait on you hand and foot, this is not the book for you. Our tips will immerse you in the local culture. You'll be eating and drinking where locals do, not stuck in some boring, overly priced, tourist trap. Our hope is that there are still travelers out there who want to experience the real Negril, and want to be able to do it for an extended amount of time. If that's you, this book will help you immensely on your journey.

Introduction
Hello all. Welcome to our ebook on how to extend your stay in Negril. Between the two of us we've been to Negril a dozen or so times. We took all of the tips and tricks that we learned from locals, expats, and through trial and error and condensed them into this ebook. Using what we learned we were able to extend our last visit to six months. Our hope is that you can use this book to extend your next trip in Negril.
Being in Negril for a couple of weeks is about as enjoyable an experience as you can get. Extending that trip to a few months, and still spending the same amount of money, elevates your trip into something extra special. We stayed a short walk to the famous seven mile beach and were paying as little as $7 a night lodging. We ate the most incredible Jamaican dishes and spent less than $5 between the two of us. We were able to go out to the bars and mingle with the locals and spend a fraction of what the other tourists were paying. We were watching the sunset from the beach, on one of the most expensive hotels in the area, for the cost of a Red Stripe. With this ebook you too can enjoy all that Negril has to offer, except you'll be doing it on the cheap.
My first trip to Negril I stayed on one of the all-inclusive resorts. I was so bored I couldn't take it. I might as well have been in the states. On one of my last days I ventured out and saw what the real Negril was like. I was hooked. On each of my subsequent trips I ventured further and further from the all-inclusives into the real Negril. Eventually I started eating and drinking where the locals do. By my last trip there with Natasha we were living like locals, and saving enough money to extend our trip much longer that we had anticipated. Our hope is that, using the info that follows, you too can live like royalty in Negril on a paupers budget.
Trying to get you to an exact location in Negril is kind of difficult. Addresses don't really exist for any of the establishments listed below. The best I can do for you is
