    Haunted by a painful past, Rebecca begins an interim position at a high school in a small town she knows nothing about, using the move as a way to put distance between her and an overprotecting and controlling mother. Immediately she is attracted to Marc, a thirty-three year-old English teacher, but his strangely reserved behavior leaves her confused and wondering if they will ever be more than friends as tension between them builds.
    When allegations against Marc arise, the two find themselves the targets of an unknown stalker. Together, they are pulled into solving the mystery of the stalker's identity.

    Janet lives in Northeast Tennessee with her husband and has been writing since childhood. Her writings have ranged from science fiction, romance, and mystery, to short stories, poems, and songs. Her inspiration for story-telling has been taken from individuals and life experiences, but also comes from pure imagination. Along with six other authors, Janet has two short stories which have been published in a compilation book of short stories entitled Timeless Requiem, by Millenia Press [2013]. She is currently working on stories for the next edition of Timeless Requiem [2014]. The mother of two sons, and grandmother of three boys and two girls, Janet enjoys time spent with family. Her oldest son is also a published author and her youngest son is a high school band director. Janet is an avid photographer, who also enjoys travel, music, and playing piano.
