      30 Day Prayer Journey for Wives - Lara Velez

      Introduction

      Prayer is a powerful weapon and we should all utilize it--daily! In regards to our marriage, it can literally be the glue that keeps us together long enough for God to move!

      We should be praying diligently for our own hearts, our husbands, and for the overall integrity of our marriages.

      This prayer book is a journey we will go on together. It will take us to the deepest parts of our souls, and onward towards the victories that I believe are only faithful prayers away!

      How to use this book:

      This book is broken down into 30 days. Each day you will read a small word that God laid on my heart for such a time as this, a verse to focus on for the day, a prayer to pray out loud, and some closing thoughts.

      I suggest that you get a journal, and keep it with you. Make sure that you journal your time in prayer, and write down anything and everything the Lord lays on your heart that day.

      I would also like to encourage you to go through this journal several times a year--or even monthly--if you have a thicker skull like me!

      Note: Please do not limit yourself to what I have written. Add your own thoughts, and whatever the Spirit prompts you to. Make it personal!

      Don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. - James 1:22 (nlt)

      My prayer for you:

      Father God, You are an amazing and wonderful King. You are good, You are holy. You are mighty. You are abounding in love, mercy, forgiveness, and compassion. You are so much more than I deserve. I love You, Lord. Thank You so much for this beautiful woman that You created. Thank You for her willingness to open her heart to what You have planned for her. Lord, I pray that You give her super-natural strength in these coming days. I pray that You help her to overcome obstacles, to be diligent, and to press on no matter what the enemy tries to throw in her path. I pray for a hedge of protection to be placed around her and her husband, and for You to send extra angels to protect her entire household. Lord, I ask that You bless her abundantly and profoundly in ways that she could not have even imagined. Father I pray that You make Your Word come alive in her as she meditates on her daily verse. I pray that You encourage her, surround her with Your love, and also to convict her in the areas that need correction. Help her to become the wife and woman that You designed her to be! I pray that You strengthen her marriage where it is weak, heal the areas that are broken, and renew where love has been lost. I pray that You bless this beautiful daughter of Yours with the marriage she dared not dream to ever have! Thank You, Lord. Thank You for all that You are, and all that You do for us each and every day. Thank You for hearing this petition and intervening as needed. Thank You for helping me write this prayer journey, and thank You for all that You will do through it for marriages! I love You, Daddy. In Jesus' Mighty Name, amen.

      OK, ladies, let the journey begin…

      Day 1

      Prayer is the most significant and powerful thing that you can do for your marriage. I want to encourage you, as we begin this month-long journey, to be diligent and purposeful in your prayers each day.
