About this ebook
This true story of a confirmed atheist's journey includes unexplainable "goosebumps" events on his way to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ at multiple retreats and congregations in multiple states and denominations. For those who have "hit a dry spell" in their faith journey, turned away from God, or doubt His existence, this may be just the book to read. This could be the perfect gift for a friend who needs reassurance during a tough time (although this is not intended as professional help during a crisis situation).
Non-believers will likely be able to associate with the author because he's been there!

Introduction
This short e-book is not purported to convert an atheist to Christianity. Only God can do that.
This book is, however, a true recount of the journey of one atheist's path that landed him in pulpits preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, repeatedly, in three congregations and two denominations at time of this writing.
The author is a Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church, has provided pulpit supply for vacationing pastors and spoken at retreats. He is currently in the process of submitting for entrance to candidacy for pastor.
If this book can be used as a true Testimony shared with non-believers, skeptics or even believers who had hit a dry spell
, it has served its purpose.
Chapter 1 In the Beginning
Remember the 1950's? The black & white television shows included Lassie, My Three Sons and Leave it to Beaver. Leave it to Beaver's regular run began October 4, 1957, the same day the Soviet Union launched the satellite Sputnik. As a little boy, I remember my parents pointing out Sputnik to me that October night as it passed overhead. I remember being scared. I didn't know what Sputnik really was or who the Soviets really were, but I remember that things were not like they had been anymore.
My parents were what many might call C&E Christians
, meaning that they might appear in church for Christmas or Easter. If schedules were such that we couldn't, well, there's always next year. I was baptized as an infant, and like other infants, don't remember anything about it. I do remember rarely going to church as a child, and attending Sunday school. I remember hearing teachers and other kids talking about things I didn't understand. I remember sitting with
