These metaphors can liberate. Or they can oppress.
Do you belong to the divine as a precious possession? Are you empowered by divine grace?
Or do you need to be managed like a child and corralled like a sheep because you’re essentially depraved?
Some spiritual leaders seek to liberate; others seek to enslave.
In the end, it’s up to us to discover our path to freedom. So that we can tell whether the one ahead of us is leading us to liberty or slavery.
This interview describes how one born (and born again) Christian woke up to see the human strings attached to divine grace, cut the strings and walked in the grace.
