About this ebook

Emily is great friends with Mr. Kline, an elderly gentleman whom she visits almost every day after school. But Mr. Kline has a dark secret--decades earlier as a very young man he had served as a guard at a German concentration camp during World War II. When his secret comes out, Emily strives to make sure that justice is tempered with mercy as Mr. Kline's day of reckoning approaches. An intermediate reader for ages 8-10.
