    Tammie Younger lay on her stomach on the floor in front of the TV watching the usual Saturday morning cartoons. At eight years old, Tammie had an imagination that wouldn't quit. Her usual lineup of Saturday morning shows were Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Casper, the Friendly Ghost, and Merlin the Magician.

    Her favorite was Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. She often, more like constantly, played like she was Sabrina, and at night she dreamed she had Sabrina's powers.

    As she sat there this particular morning, though, she saw a commercial for a new show where a little girl would make a wish upon a star, and the Blue Fairy would appear and turned her into a beautiful princess while she slept.

    I wonder if that would work for me, Tammie said, thoughtfully.

    Don't be ridiculous, Tammie, Mrs. Younger said.

    You mean you don't believe in magic, Mom?
