Do you think successful people are someone sent from the other planets, and are blessed with in-built intellect and management capability? It’s true that everyone puts generous efforts to win the rat race, but only a few can ultimately make it to the podiums. We all leak oil, but the best ones know how to control that leakage. Someone associated with sports may define success as the number of tournaments won or the records made/broken, whereas a musician would love to see the contributions made in music industry in terms of acclaimed compositions and scores. You can’t put them in the same bracket to determine who’s successful and who’s not, but when psychologists report that more than 90% of their patients from diversified backgrounds consider themselves as utter failure, there’s need for a refreshed approach to discuss over it. Some common elements of failure are there that can hurt anyone irrespective of backgrounds, and that’s exactly this book is all about.
