About this ebook
Bored with her old book club, Alicia Finlay decides to start a new one—dedicated to her favorite crime writer Agatha Christie. As she gathers seven quirky members together, little does Alicia know they’re about to stumble upon a real-life mystery of their own. When one member suddenly vanishes and her husband shows up murdered soon after, the club decide to do as the meddling Miss Marple would do, and investigate.
So begins the first exciting installment of the Agatha Christie Book Club (ACBC), a motley collection of amateur sleuths who use Christie as their guide to help solve a range of mysteries that fall into their lap. Following in the footsteps of Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, the group must sort the clues from the red herrings to solve the murder of Arthur Parlour and determine what happened to his mysterious missing wife.

Christina (C.A.) Larmer tried writing a romance at the age of 13 but pretty soon she'd slaughtered the hero and planted it on the heroine. It was the beginning of a beautiful love affair that has now resulted in four crime series, including the Murder Mystery Book Club, the Sleuths of Last Resort, the Ghostwriter mysteries, the Posthumous Mystery series, a domestic suspense novel, and a stand-alone mystery masquerading as a family saga (she's fooling nobody).Born and bred in Papua New Guinea, Christina has lived and worked around the world from New York and Los Angeles to London and Sydney. A journalist, editor, teacher and mentor, she now runs an indie publishing business from the east coast of Australia, where she lives with her musician husband, two sons, a devilish 'Bluey' and countless koalas and snakes, none of which come close to the villains in her books. Well, maybe just the Bluey...Sign up for news, views, discounts and giveaways: calarmer.comGet in touch: christina@calarmer.com

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Charming book. Very very cool and funny. The cast is just great, super connect amongst them.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Delightful. A fine cozy with engaging characters and suspects that get killed off one at a time. Most of the humor is not direct but situational, but it does add to the tale. Good writing!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This novel had its ups and downs, but I liked the tie in with Agatha Christie. Even though some reviewers panned this on the e-book reviews, I found it interesting, annoying, and enjoyable all together. The book gets better as it goes along. I did guess what was happening half way through the book. Very plot driven, with somewhat cardboard characters in places. Suspend disbelief that these book club friends can skip work so often and also involve themselves in snooping into the lives of people they do not even know. The Aussie slang also is annoying, as are the few typos. Still a fun read though.
