Author

Michael Johnson

I fell in love with writing when I was 15 years of age. I started writing about the truth and all forms of it. I would use quotes as a basic guide, but then these quickly evolved into articles. I have written so many pieces of writing detailing all forms of religion, life, relationships, personal development, business, work, friendships, problem solving, personal excellence and spirituality. My love of writing was fueled by the love of helping other people. Therefore all my writing is purely presented to people for their sake and the betterment of their life.

    PREFACE

My name is Michael Johnson. From the ages of fifteen through thirty-four I learned a huge range of things about work and life. I’ve taught martial arts; worked in factories, as a courier, in mines, retail, and horticulture; and started successful businesses in health and fitness and in passenger transport.

My experience has spanned the whole east coast of Australia. And I know it’ll sound like big-noting, but … I’ve ended up being great at everything I did.

    How?

By following the truths I present to you in this book. They are simple to grasp, but hard to master. By putting your mind to living them, you will impress countless people with your abilities. To some, you’ll be nothing short of spectacular.

I had to sell myself in every industry I’ve worked in. I’ve had to learn to get along with many different kinds of people, to attend interviews, learn codes of conduct, and answer questionnaires. I’ve had to learn difficult skills at short notice, often without any formal training, in the middle of a job where they were absolutely crucial.

I’ve also had to work in remote, isolated places, like Cape Flattery on the Cape York Peninsula. In such places, I took my thirst for information about how to succeed at everything I did, and used my spare time to study whatever I thought might help me learn to be a cut above the rest.

I’ve studied investments: stocks and real estate, precious metals, collectibles, and superannuation. I’ve read eastern and western philosophy, and about Buddhism, Christianity, the Gnostics, Taoism, and tantra. I’ve researched myriad topics on health and fitness, from anatomy, physiology, and neurology to personal training and the martial arts. For myself and others, I’ve looked into mental health and psychology. I’ve also covered home security, nature, healing, business, websites, relationships, and writing.

That’s a long list, but it represents what you can achieve with twenty years of steady, gradual application in the early part of your life. All I’ve done to get where I am, see what I’ve seen, and do what I’ve done, is observe and learn, research, write about things for myself and others, and always seek to deepen my understanding of life, work, and indeed anything that crossed my path.

I’ve been extremely ambitious, and I didn’t want to leave any stones unturned. I couldn’t bear not to understand things, to have blockages in my relationships with people, or to find that there was something I couldn’t do well. So I applied myself and learned.

Don’t think I haven’t had my failures, too. In fact, I’ve been through times when I’ve lacked patience and self-belief, when I walked away from people I could have stuck with, and when I’ve let my friends, my family, and myself down. At times I’ve even been through living
