Introduction
It is pleasantly surprising that the world literature is immensely indebted to a writer who had no formal higher education. Who could it be? Yes, it was William Shakespeare. He not only played with the words but also gave thousands of new meanings to the existing words.
Shakespeare's wit remains unmatched even to the day. To fully understand his works, students often seek help of Shakespeare Dictionary or Glossary. Many of his lines from his famous plays and poems have become world famous quotations. They are full of wit and intelligence.
