{PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR THE LIST OF MY AVAILABLE E-BOOKS} I've always enjoyed storytelling, ever since I was a child. My love for storytelling has evolved from hand-drawn comic strips, to creating hand-puppets - "Meemies and Fluffies" - for my younger brother and sisters' morning puppet show, to writing stories in longhand in spirals armed with only a Penmate pen while battling a stiff hand and dreaming of a day when I'd finally own a typewriter. Today, in my peaceful Southern California home near the mountains, I can't go a day without my computer and I now enjoy storytelling via my e-books, specializing in mystery, drama, Young Adult and paranormal romance. If you've read one of my books and like them, please leave a review, good or bad, and add me as a favorite author {a single click on a button to your left is all it takes}. Divine Intervention

    Academic Trinity General Hospital

It had been fifteen days since Rory followed the gurney taking Madelaine into the ER. Fifteen long, heartbreaking days. When she was later brought to the ICU, he had the best doctors fly in on his private jet from all corners of the country. He even scheduled a few neurosurgeons from Europe to come although they had tentatively told him they couldn’t do much else for her than what the specialists there already had.

None of them had any answers why she wasn’t responding. They were Baffled. Mystified. They had told him they needed to run more tests although they couldn’t guarantee any new results. For him it was devastating, more than he could have ever imagined, although he refused to show it.

It was tragic to know that after he had finally found her and they had finally connected and made love—real love—she’d be stolen away from him and was so badly abused this way. It broke his heart in ways he thought wasn’t possible—and it triggered his inner rage. He felt as if he was being consumed by it, but he hid it from the world because vengeance would have to wait. Maddy was most important to him now and she took precedent even over his regular meals and showers.

He remained close by her side all that time, watching over her like a hawk. She wasn’t deteriorating, but she wasn’t improving either. No matter how dire the situation appeared, he refused to give up on her. He simply couldn’t. As he stood in that hospital, feeling a profound sense of helplessness and despair, old wounds inside his soul from long ago were mercilessly ripped open. He never felt more raw or more vulnerable than he did then.

Although it was against hospital policy to allow any acquaintance to have a bed in the room of a patient not related to them, Rory wouldn’t be refused. He wanted to be beside her at all times because he was afraid someone might come in the dead of night again and take her away.

Ron made daily visits to the hospital. He was there for him and as he worked tirelessly to ensure the business side ran as smoothly as possible. His friend was also there to see to the smaller things that he wasn’t in any state to handle himself. Ron had pulled a lot of strings and got a bed in Maddy’s private room for him, and he made the necessary calls to her family and church. He pretty much ran everything, even his empire because, as he told him, he wanted things to be in order when he was ready to take control again.

Maddy had been right all along. Although her saying that Ron loved him was
