About this ebook

Garrick Taylor and Bliss Edwards managed to find their happily-ever-after despite a rather . . . ahem . . . complicated start. By comparison, meeting the parents should be an absolute breeze, right?

But from the moment the pair lands in London, new snags just keep cropping up: a disapproving mother-in-law-to-be, more than one (mostly) minor mishap, and the realization that perhaps they aren't quite as ready for their future as they thought.

As it turns out, the only thing harder than finding love is keeping it.

Although I liked the first book, this one just doesn't do it for me. It is an easy read, but it is just too short to be enjoyed in. Some parts of the story haven't even been explained and it just bothers me not knowing a little bit more detail into it. Also, I didn't like the ending. All in all seems like this one was written in an hour.

This story relates a believable dance-forward and back- between two people who have been wounded in their formative years. The language is beautiful, the pacing is satisfying, and the characters are people you root for. A lovely book.

Excellent follow up story for Garrick and Bliss. They are off to London to meet Garrick's parents. Scary stuff. Great addition to the series.

While I liked the book and I'm a fan of the author, I felt like this book wasn't really worth it. Like I said, I liked it, but it was so short. I know, it was supposed to be a novella, but it felt too short to even be classified as that. It seemed like the development of the story could have been helped if it had been fleshed out. I just expected more from it, I guess.

Really, really cute. All the acting/theater talk and the massive insecurities of the main character kind if bummed me out, but it's great otherwise.

I think I don't like these characters as much as those in Carmack's other books because Losing It has kind of a gimmicky plot (as do so many first books; I'm sure it's easier to sell those that lean more High Concept), and that particular gimmick did not appeal to me.
