Steven and Sharon are just eight and ten years old and they are about to have a hair raising adventure in the wilds above Placerville. During the adventure they see something so extremely out of the ordinary, that they think they're dreaming.
Christmas Eve they are staying with their Granny when they find out that maybe what they saw wasn't a dream, but something real, something big.
They are whisked off to Dreamland by their Granny to visit with Captain Pengo and Tra to ride on the Wally Wally Maru, a gigantic dreamship that can take them anywhere in Dreamland they could possibly want to go.

The author was born in Washington, Pennsylvannia. He loves animals and birds. Has two pet cockatiels that keep him company while he writes. He has a lovely daughter and a rascally grandson. He is rich in friends that matter and well adjusted to a life of challenges. He writes and draws every day. He loves anything science fiction, fantasy or extremely well written. Same goes for movies and TV. Not married currently, but has an eye and ear open to possibilities. :)

"It is said in the Wise Lands that a good man is weighed by the number of sheep he safely brings to the pastures every day, the fine children he raises to be good citizens and the wife that he never leaves behind.
I say that it is true, but a good man should also be weighed by his imagination, by his courage, by his fortitude, by his spirit which never gives up under adversity, and by his unwillingness to bend his principles just to make his life easier.
For it is a far, far greater thing to live poor, but happy in the good you've lived your life, then rich and make a dark blot on the face of all life. A poor man can become wealthy and keep his humility if he is careful, but a wealthy man will never understand poverty if his heart is hardened to his fellow man.
Therefore, children, let us never leave our dreams in the care of those who are without care, and our hearts in the hands of those who embrace the arctic winds. For if we do, then we shall never
