A few years ago I started to write and publish short stories using a variety of pen names. In 2011, I wrote and published over a million words. I write using over a dozen pen names and have published over 700 titles that represent over 1,500 short stories, novellas and plays. My works cover 8 of the 10 categories of the Dewey Decimal system. If you had a list of the most prolific short story writers in all of human history I would easily fit in the top ten - and that is only from the last five years of my output as a writer. Recently I turned my hand to writing science fiction. I love imagining what might be in the future, but it may not always be rosy so you tend not to see the hero saving the world on the last page on my stories. For those looking for sci fi short movie ideas, why don't you try some of my ebooks? There are plenty of new and innovative concepts to discover. Speaking of discoverying... I recently discovered that I am genetically a Saami. I suspect part of that identity, and the thousands of years of isolation from humankind in my genes, also comes out in some of my stories. I write quickly, to tell a simple and entertaining story. I imagine we are sitting around the camp-fire in an era long gone. The story should be sharp and to the point so that it is memorable. I don't believe in filling 300 pages with mindless waffle. I don't plan my stories - I put my fingers on the keyboard and let them tell the story - the ending often unfolds from my fingertips without even thinking what it might be. My favourite sci-fi short stories of the ones I have published so far? I really enjoyed writing 2094, it had been forming in my mind for many years. In 2012, the cover of 2094 was sent to the edge of space on a hot air balloon and then returned - that was a great thrill. The Multiverse Traveler is another favourite and I am tempted to continue on with it into other stories. May I recommend, Androgyne, a recent addition to my bookshelf and a story I thoroughly enjoyed telling, and Avatar Gods which just felt amazing to write. I love the emotion it generates. It really adds to the atmosphere if you listen to the songs mentioned in the story. I also have experimented with putting music to my works, my series Fembot Wars has an album of music set to the theme of the ebook series. I have published the songs under the name of an avatar I created, a musical pen name. I recently began to write short plays for the ten minute play market, I hope you enjoy them. They are usually funny and to the point! Finally, I enjoy listening to music as I write, it provides the stimulation for moods. Here is my writing playlist on Youtube, for those interested... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3ir9HC9vYg&list=PLJhp5_YdP2W5elxXaHTxZVoUxDNmW_W89 For more information and to contact me, go to my website which is listed below.

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

    THE TIME TRAVELLER AND ROCHELLE

    INTRODUCTION

This is the second in the Time Traveller series.

The first volume was entitled the Adventures of Sandee and Donna. If you didn’t read it, can I suggest that you do as it will help you understand where these characters come from and it gives the basis for what is to follow.

Besides, since The Adventures of Sandee and Donna made it all the way up to number 29 on the charts, then you should read it, just so you don’t miss out on that smash hit.

Now, if you are too lazy, dear reader, to take the hint then let me fill you in, briefly.

Eduardo worked for the government in this far away land. Like most government employees he wasn’t too happy as the whole system was a joke but he persevered, as he had a job to do. And this wasn’t just his day to day government employee job, this was another job – a job he had been sent to undertake, from the future. Eduardo had been sent back in time to punish those who had acted illegally in government employment and in human society generally. He was part of a huge piece of work from his era where they were trying to correct the inhumanity of the past.

His society not only punished those who had erred, but they also had a program of work to assist in moving some of the inhabitants into future fantasy worlds to live out their dreams – the catch was that Eduardo and his type had to know what the other people’s dreams were, and they had to be their real, heartfelt dreams. This required Eduardo to spend time with a group of people, to gain their trust so that they might reveal their inner fantasies and dreams.

Finally Eduardo had completed his task with his work colleagues and sent them all off safely into fantasy worlds. He had then retired to a cooler clime whilst he waited his next assignment and continued his career as a writer – an essential part of his time on Earth.

But not all things went to plan…

    ROCHELLE

At first she had been stunned that Eduardo had created such a fantasy for her. Yes, it was true that she had fantasised about being with another woman, to live the life of a lesbian, but she didn’t know that she was ready for this sort of thing right now and she had been caught off guard when he had produced a beautiful woman in front of her, inviting her to dance. And then when Rochelle had looked down at herself and found she was wearing a gorgeous ball gown and looking as feminine as she had ever been, she had thrown caution to the wind and decided to go with the flow and see where it took her.

The dancing had been breath-taking; there was no doubt about it, everything had gone like magic. The music was haunting, chilling. She had listened to the words as Eurovision star Dilara Kazimova sung for them…

"Someone’s selling garden roses down the square

People gathering by to breathe the morning air

But no one sees the bitter cold and shivering empty hands

A school girl running by and trying to beat the bell

People dropping, tossing coins in wishing wells

But no one cares for dreams that don’t fit into our world

    Maybe nightfall darkens skies

And maybe teardrops stain our eyes

But may the slightest light start a fire"

She had let the other woman lead, she had enjoyed the closeness, the tension, the eroticism, it had all felt so perfect.

When dancing had evolved beyond holding each other close, and moved towards kissing, gently at first, Rochelle had let herself go and then had spent the night making hot passionate love with the other woman.

It had been out of this world, an experience she knew she would never regret and never forget, and yet it wasn’t the completeness that she was looking for either. There was still something missing, her mind searched for answers, she tried to remember the past, she tried to remember how she even got there – it all seemed like a fantasy, a fantasy that did not fulfil her life completely, even though it was exquisite.

After a week she decided to go and visit her old work colleague, Sandee, she sensed she knew where Sandee lived – and as soon as she had the thought she realised she was standing in Sandee’s town. Looking down the crowded street she saw a familiar walk – somehow it was Sandee, just on cue. These things just happened?

Rochelle felt herself waving frantically to attract Sandee’s attention, the older woman looking up over the heads of those in the streetscape and smiling as she recognised Rochelle. The two women ran towards each other.

They met in mid street and hugged.

Rochelle! What are you doing here? asked an excited Sandee, a little out of breath from running.

I can’t believe you are here, I haven’t seen you for ages.

    Rochelle looked a little perplexed.

Ages? I thought I had only been here a week or so. Actually, where is here? I have no idea how I got here. I have spent the last week with a lover, I am not sure exactly where we have been, and then I was thinking I wanted to see you and here I am. There is something VERY odd going on in my life right now. It is like all my dreams are coming true, somehow.

    Sandee laughed.

"Ah, so you too have the odd feelings about this life. It seems to me like ages since I saw you
