The Men of Sin: We Die Young
()
About this ebook
I’m writing a 4-part crime series called The Men of Sin. The first installment is called, The Men of Sin: We Die Young.
Robbing jewelry stores was a normal thing to Mark, John, Paul and Stan. They had plenty of money from selling the stolen gems to underground buyers. But when John wanted a “change” by robbing a bank instead of jewelry stores, Murphy’s Law was in full effect.
Greed for wealth turned into two cold blooded murders in one day. John had a big falling out with Stan in which later he deeply regretted and Mark had the bomb dropped on him when the cop he was messing with was pregnant with his child. The question is, would the crew get the chair for double murder?

I'm Clay Foxworth, born in Marion, SC and reared in Florence, SC. I've been back in the Atl since Oct of '07. I've been writing off and on for years, until I finally decided to use my God given talent to write a 4-part crime series. I enjoy writing and just making up action stories. If I had the right equipment, time and actors, I would've directed the crime series. I also enjoy working out 3-4 days a week, practicing yoga 6 days a week and TM (transcendental meditation) twice a day for 20 minutes. Although I enjoy the physical part of yoga (stretching), I don't get into the sutras in the Bhaghavad Gita. And yes fellas, straight men practice yoga too lol.Yoga increases your flexibility, improves blood circulation, reduces stress and helps you sleep better. It'll take me a week to tell you all the benefits meditation has done for me, but I'll share with you two. Meditation helps you to focus better and it'll break any addiction you have. Meditation broke my 20 year addiction to alcohol. And I didn't go to any AA meetings or follow some 12 step program. I'm a little surprised my liver is still functioning properly. The man that really inspired me to practice yoga and meditation is Russell Simmons. I love that brotha! His books really changed my life. Read "Success Through Stillness". It'll be cool if Uncle Rush were to buy my ebooks lol! Thanks for reading! Peace and I love ya'll!

Jewelry Store Jackin’
Come on, man! Let’s get the fuck outta here! GO! GO! GO! Get the fuck off me!!
Mark exclaimed as he pushed the jewelry store employee off of him real hard. He then pointed his M16A2 rifle towards the employee while he was running for his life and BANG! BANG! He let off two rounds in his back. The employee fell to the floor, with blood splattered all over and the women screamed like crazy.
Mark looked at him for a few seconds and then ran outside towards a fairly new black Ford Taurus with a V6 engine and hauled ass on Old Milton Parkway. Bust a right on Westside, dog!
John exclaimed to Stan, as they were driving at almost Mach 3 level.
Man, slow this bitch down! You tryna to get us pulled us over?! Damn! Once you get to the light, drive like normal. Don’t fuckin’ speed, please!
Mark, the ring leader, sternly stated to Stan. They got to the light. For some strange reason, that light wouldn’t change for nothing in the world!
Come on, light! Change!
Stan, the driver, said with aggravation. Finally, the dumb light changed and they drove like normal, all the way back to the ‘hood in Decatur. WHEW!! We killed that bitch HA! HAAAA!!
John, who was 2nd in command, exclaimed. Yeah man, we got ‘em good. Too bad I had to shoot one of those dumb bastards who tried to stop me! Ya’ll saw that shit?!
Mark surprisingly asked. Nah, my dude, we didn’t see it. We were too busy running out the store tryna to get inside the car. After we heard the shots, we turned around, looked and saw you running towards us,
Paul, a foot soldier, responded. Yeah. Let’s go back to the spot and see what we took, how much it’s worth and then we’re going to our buyers tomorrow morning at 11and sell that shit for top dollar,
Mark said. Cool
, Paul and John said.
They dumped the car at John’s buddy’s chop shop in Decatur. John paid his buddy, Reggie, $5,000 cash to get rid of the car they robbed the jewelry store in. They then took a cab back to Mark’s house.
They went back to Mark’s house, emptied out all the jewelry, gems, stones etc. The watches ranged from Rolex, to Cartier to Movado, to Breitling, yada yada yada you name it. They even looked at the gems and stones using jewelry loops like they were jewelry experts or pawn brokers. John gave Stan some gems, 2 Rolexes and an Omega watch valued at almost 60K grand total.
When they were finished checking out the jewelry, Mark asked, You guys want something to drink? I got peach and raspberry Smirnoff with cranberry juice and a six pack of Corona.
Yeah, give me a Corona, would ya?
Paul requested. I’ll take some of that raspberry vodka and cranberry juice mix
, John ordered. After clearing his throat, Stan jokingly said, Nah, I’m tryna to quit drinking. As a matter of fact, I wanna go to church and serve the Lord, maybe join the usher board or something.
He cleared his throat again and looked at their faces with a smirk on his face. Mark, John and Paul looked at Stan like they saw a ghost.
After a moment of dead silence, Fool, quit lying! Ay Mark, get this nigga a drink. I don’t know why he’s frontin’ like he’s holy and shit.
John blurted out. You want a beer or vodka and cranberry juice?
Mark laughingly asked Stan. Yeah, gimme some of that peach vodka and juice, ‘preciate it man and praise the Lord,
Stan ordered.
After Mark gave them their drinks, Mark decided to turn on the TV. He was flipping through the channels and landed on Fox 5 News. The anchorman said, "Alpharetta police are looking for 4 suspects that robbed Sabri Guven Fine Jewelry this afternoon. Police are looking for clues that will link the robbers to their arrests. Police also said one of them shot a store employee after he tried to detain the robber, but is permanently paralyzed. He is listed in stable condition and he’s expecting to live. In
