About this ebook

This is a Bible Study Series on the Gospel of Mark, from a Lutheran Perspective, that explores this story's take on Christ, view of the Cross, and, through basic questions, implications for our Contemporary lives. It is meant to be used in a small group; however, it is hoped that it will still be beneficial for even a lone student. This fifth part covers Mark 8:27-10:45. Four Sessions will precede this one, and three more Sessions will follow.

They answer by saying: John the Baptist, Elijah, and one of the prophets. Then Jesus changes the question a bit: But who do you say that I am? Peter answers, calling Jesus the messiah.
