    DEDICATION

    This book has three dedications.

It is dedicated to the hard working people of Canada who have spent several years opening up to me about their financial issues. If it wasn't for you, there would be no book.

It is also dedicated to my best friend in the entire world – Eunice my wife. We have seen so much together. Who knows what adventures God has waiting for us to embrace?

Finally, this book is also dedicated to the memory and legacy of Leo Schreven who was the first person to introduce me to the concept of Becoming Your Own Banker.

May we all learn to master our lives mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially in our journey through life.

Thank you Theodor Tonca for also teaching me fundamentals of wealth everyone else somehow seemed to miss, especially when it comes to value investing.

Thank you to my big sister. She knows who she is.

Finally, thanks to everyone who has prayed to God for us during interesting times.

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

    INTRODUCTION

Forget about investment products! To hell with all the slanted advice!

Just ask yourself one simple question.

Who do you trust with your money?

You are about to walk away with a sobering look at the financial future we are facing and some of the choices available to grow and protect your wealth as safely as possible.

It's not about making a buck. It's about making a difference. MONEY UNCENSORED cuts through the financial noise and exposes real issues facing Canadians and the rest of the world. It's time to reinvent the future of financial literacy and take an honest look at the financial world in a way that has rarely been shown before.

My mission is to assist people in their quest to live with purpose and joy by sharing sound personal, financial and health solutions.

This book is a continuation of that mission.

After years of being a financial strategist and raising millions of dollars in investment funds, I started realizing the financial world was getting more dangerous each month. So, I took a new path and started sharing my experiences through a series of lectures I named the Money Uncensored lectures.

My hope is to make people aware of the financial path being forced upon them, and the serious implications of this path should things continue to go the same way. This book will discuss everything from how money is created to all the financial dangers I have come across. The book will also explore options that still work out there to protect and grow your wealth as safely as possible.

I'll be sharing some stories that may shock you. Some of these stories are going to seem scary, while others are going to be very encouraging. The one thing I am not going to do is treat you like an idiot and sugar coat everything because I have too much respect for you.

I'm also going to be using the word you in this book as if I were talking to every single Canadian.

Before we get to the first chapter, I would like to address some often-asked questions.

Will my financial advisor agree with everything I discuss?

Answer: I honestly do not know. It depends on the sincerity of your financial advisor. I'm not here to attack anyone. I'm here to expose real financial issues facing Canadians without any biases. I can't say the same for your financial advisor.

I recently met up with a financial advisor who was the regional manager of a large investment firm. He argued every single thing I suggested when it meant he could lose his commission should his client choose a different financial path than the one he originally suggested.

On the flip side, I have met with other financial advisors that have listened humbly and without bias. They have approached me asking, Where can I learn more?

I hope your financial advisor falls in the latter category.

Next question. Are you going to share investment scams and dangers you have come across?

Answer: Absolutely! In part two of this book I will be covering a wide range of these financial scams and dangers.

I'll share everything from the events that took place during the 2008 financial crash to certain financial disasters that will make you think twice before you invest another dime.

Next question. Do you recommend any books?

Answer: I read and recommend a lot of books. There are two books I would definitely put on the
