Gastronomic experiences in Morocco
Morocco is a country full of wonderful places.
It is a country that, in many respects, still feels wild, due to its rural setting, its mountain ranges where people remain isolated during winter, and fishing villages on coastal areas with infinite beaches.
Above all, Moroccan people are welcoming and hospitable.
If invited into a local’s home, you will always be offered tea and pastries.
In fact, one of the most amazing things you will discover in Morocco is its gastronomy.
I was lucky enough to discover this for myself, and so unexpectedly, during an adventure there.
On my first trek through the Grand Atlas Mountains, we were incredibly fortunate to have a man named Ismael as part of our group.
He was one of the best cooks I have ever met in my life, ah, if you could have tasted his cooking!
At the beginning of the trek, in a small village situated in a valley, the cook fulfilled the task of buying all the necessary vegetables and meats (of course, pork was excluded from the menu, as Morocco is a Muslim country
