About this ebook

Pimlaco Aldris walked away from her career, fame, and prestige to pursue a dance of a different kind. Fueled by an unquenchable libido, she accepts a job offer from a lascivious lord whose strange demands involve revealing clothing that leave little to the imagination, public performances, and most perplexing of all his insistence that she spend time with the help. To make matters even worse, she discovers that she likes it.

Adviser and Second to his lord, Commander Kraydic craves a permanent intimacy; someone to fall asleep with and wake up next to. However, his life is constantly on the move serving and protecting, until he meets her—the stunning erotic dancer who twirls into his life and away with his heart.

Tangled in unbridled passion, sensuous seduction, and a night that can't possibly last forever, one dance will change the rules of engagement.

Christine Powell Gomez (AKA- CG Powell) started writing in 2011, after much consideration, she decided that indie pubbing was the direction for her. Since then she has never looked back, Christine has written books and short stories in the paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, and erotica genres all with a twist of romance. Before self-publishing, she worked a plethora of jobs that only enforce her love of the written word such as: her adventures in the Navy, working for the USDA in the sugar cane fields of south Louisiana, Cisco Networking (CCNA), working for the French Air Force as a technical advisor on electronic parts and becoming a (GIA) Gemologist. Christine has taken her vast knowledge and insatiable appetite for learning and applied it to the stories she writes. In 2012 Christine opened The Book Swag Shop, which caters to indie authors looking for unique swag items for their fans. This venture has helped her to understand branding, time management (still working on this one), and business management. It has also enabled her to meet other authors outside her usual circles.

    Chapter 1

The well-dressed onlookers whispered as Pim made her way to the concierge’s desk. Polished stone and gold trimmed columns were not her norm. In her line of work, the clients preferred a little more anonymity. But this was the address she was given, so she held her shoulders and chin high and ignored the glares.

I’m here to see Mr. Slarin. Please let him know that Miss Pimlaco Alderis is here for our meeting. Had she been familiar with the location, she would have dressed a little less conspicuously. What’s done is done, and business is business. She shrugged off as she waited for her client to respond to the uptight man behind the desk.

Lord Slarin is sending his assistant to get you. The man crinkled his nose as if foul air had crawled up his nostrils.

Fantastic, she replied. Just great. There must be some sort of Lord Convention this week, because Rinwal seems to be crawling with them.

Pim’s insides turned as she thought back to her last client, Lord Grabhands as she liked to refer to him as. The old geezer was from one of the lesser known planets she had never heard of but carried enough universal credits to afford her services as a zero gravity exotic dancer. Her usual clientele were usually high ranking politicians and guild merchants who came to the pleasure planet for a little rest and relaxation. Her time was not cheap, and for those who were looking for more than just a dance, she reserved the right to say no and made sure to collect her credits in advance. In her experience, the richer they were, the more likely they were to try and stiff her.

A tall well-built man wearing traditional Rinwal business attire approached her at the concierge’s desk and introduced himself. I’m Commander Kraydic. He bowed instead of the usual handshake, a contradiction to the form fitting suit he wore.

Miss Pimlaco Alderis, she said and nodded. There was something about him that made her heart race the moment she looked into his dark blue eyes. He seemed young for a Commander, but that could very well be the norm for their planet.

The tiny laugh-lines around his eyes only added to the rugged handsomeness of his face. When he stood, he smiled and gave her a wink as if to acknowledge that she ogled just a little too long. She broke her stare and reached out for her suitcase.

But he gently placed his hands on hers and said, Please allow me.

Heat traveled from the place where his hand met hers and stopped at her face. She took a deep breath and replied, Yes, by all means.

As they walked toward the lift, she intentionally avoided even looking at Commander Kraydic. It was not her job to get the attention of the help, but to cater to the client. There was nothing worse than a jealous patron.

Once they were in the lift, Commander Kraydic stood next to
