About this ebook

Behind Closed Doors is a tale about a young woman, who is afraid of closed doors. Actually, she’s not really afraid of the doors. No, what she’s afraid of is what is hiding Behind Closed Doors.
A Walk To Remember is about the young couple, Steve and Laura, who are out for a moonlit walk, when they see the shadow of a strange guy, who is standing under the moon. The moonlit walk turns from being romantic into a walk they’ll never forget.
Just About Midnight takes place on a darkened road at the countryside. A young guy is on the walk back home, after practicing with his band. On the way, a car pulls over, and after that, the walk back home turns different from all the others.
The One Way Ticket is based upon a thought I had once. I was standing all alone by a bus stop, waiting for the bus. Suddenly, I thought What if the bus was suddenly different? What if the bus, when it arrives, was full of dead people? I know it sounds crazy, but thanks to my imagination, I ended up with this little tale.
The Husher is based upon a topic I found at the Internet. The topic said The things under the bed. That made me think of The Boogeyman, who, according to the stories, lives in the closet. Then I realized that there is a creature which may be worse than the Boogeyman; The Husher.

    – Something is wrong about this. –

Then I thought Under The Moon would be better. But again, I had the feeling that it was not good enough.

One day, while I was searching music on my computer, I saw the title of a hit by Sinatra; Strangers in the night.

Bang! There it was. The tales are about strangers, and most of them are taking place at night, or at least in the dark. So, I decided to name the collection with the very same title.

I know, many writers use to thank somebody during the foreword of their books, but I won’t. I’d rather prefer telling you something about this collection.

If you have read some of my other works, you may know about my poetry, which is mostly about love and deep emotions. But, I must tell you that the tales in this collection is not really about love.

I don’t know what makes this difference, but I am not really good at writing love stories. And I prefer writing about the
