    Never be thou afraid

    Of all you have to face

    In a world unknown to you

    For life’s like a babe:

    Long nurtured but not yet seen

    And when it greets the world,

    It’s helpless cry, someone help take

    For you, there’s always strength

    Greet the world and believe you’ll live

    Greet a new day for me

    Greet a new day for you

    If it’s joy and pains you’ll share

    If her strength you’ll receive

    At the rising of its sun;

    And believe you’ll live

    Then a good day will be yours

    Good morning to you!

    When your waiting arms are stretched

    For all the joy you have hoped

    Never do you relent nor faint

    Long expected but still on board
